Well the stock bis combat boot needs to get lost, they commonly wear current day combat boots rather than the boots from 20 years ago. Some of the colors are a bit too bright, not very tactical if I must say..

At least close to what was worn by the Seal operators on the training function we were giving with the P90 at several of the Marine facitities. The Marines phased out black combat boots, when going to the MARPAT cammo, yet some of them still wear the black boots, time to time. Even if against regulation..

I don't believe ground crew helmets are the most realistic choice for VBSS. I've recently seen pictures of operators wearing Protecs and MCU-2P's.

There will be VBSS seals that wear protec, MCU-2P's, ground crew helmets + other helmets (head gear) there will be around 20 different models in final Seal pack

Actually, it is not technically against regulation. September 04 is the last month Marines can wear black boots. Starting with FY 05 all uniforms must be MARPAT, and all boots must now be the tan boots. Anyone wearing woodland or black boots after the new fiscal year begins next month, then they would be violating Marine Corps regs.

I'm watching this movie called the finest hour. It's about a seal operation, but its fiction. I hope you guys have a shotgun, unsilenced mp5, and some sort of throwable satchel charge in the pack. By throwable satchel charge i mean you throw it, it goes out real long and sits there. Then you can detonate it at any time you please. I hope you do an awesome job on the weapons pack and give us some totally new weapons to flashpoint. Well, maybe someone has done an unsilenced mp5 and a shotgun before, but both in the same package i think not. More than likely this SEAL package is going to be right up there with the COMBAT mod addons as far as quality. They're going to say about this "not only do you get seals, but you get some really rare weapons too". That nightstalker mod did some shotguns already, you may want to like, use theirs. One problem is that when a SEAL has a shotgun he has a rifle too, however, there is a two weapons script already released which you could do a demo mission of that and put it in the SEAL pack. That'd fix the realism problem. No SEAL would have just a shotgun and a pistol, but more likely a shotgun and a rifle of some sort. Also, please do the Hollywood SEAL that you always see in the movies as wearing an all black BDU outfit and black tiger stripes on his face. I've always liked that SEAL, thats the one Hollywood movies always show.

Edit: Oh and if its not too much trouble, a simple reskin of that camo seal into the Nomex CQB green color would be much appreciated. Thanks. But definitely an all black SEAL would be very much appreciated as well. Thanks.

I don't know if this has been asked or not..but have yall considered using a more "common" bdu texture format like as in the same color as hyks U.S. Soldiers or BAS's cammo colors..just a thought..

keep in mind this comment isnt meant to be rude by no means but one thing i noticed DS is that you have some uncanning facination with the protec helmets and such and you seem to be focusing on it to much look at the rest of the seal.

Hes gotta a mini chest rig nothing else really.Now I have mentioned this topic to my brother and he has offered well alot of suggestions to you.

#1. Most of the time if they are gonna be out in the open meaning off in the jungle and or desert enviroments they arent gonna be wearing a protec.

#2 protecs arent used as much as you would think cause they arent as use full as they look. They are really worn to prevent head injuries such as if someone slipped off the rope while fast roping or if someones were to somehow hit there head on something/the other role is for a helmets to mount things on strobes incase someone fell over board,mics well you know what for there,goggles

#3 No every seal wears a bonnie hat. It used to be wear you could see a seal team and everyone would have a boonie on. not anymore really. With the new lighter and smalller helmets made available to "US I see more and more of the teams going out in helmets."

#4 Different amounts of gear for different missions. Ok some people are confused about how seals carry their gear and such well let me tell you all something we dont usually pack light. All though we dont bulk up like Army grunts with 200 pounds of worth less stuff we do carry something called speed packs. They sorta look like backpacks cammied and will radio slots and such.

#5 Ok we dont always go out naked. Naked meaning with out body armor. Some people have the idea that we always go without it. Ok depending on the mission we will go without it examples. Lets say we are gonna halo in along with the 100lbs packs we have well also include body armor. on the other hand if we go in be swimming or static line drop we dont it would wiegh us down alittle so not a good idea.
