mr reality 0 Posted July 22, 2004 If you make the SAS what would be in the pack.as they have a lot of differant rolls.I mean you couldn't make every type of SAS soldier.I would probably prefer the "Scud hunting" desert patrol groups with the landrovers.. Â ) PS: No offense...i take my hat off to ANY person in military uniform, friend or foe...from the humble private soldier of a cleaning unit to the elite 'special' forces officer..by donning that uniform they already are apart from the normal person - the things they have to do to ensure the rest of the countrymen can sleep peacefully at night. What i'd like is a nice early 90's, 80's, and 70's units going around the place. You all those people who create black hawk down missions with bas soldiers, it sucks ass because they didn't have the m4a1 being used by special forces in the early 90's. Ever hear of something called the Car-15? FerretFangs 0 Posted July 22, 2004 Just my two cents: As far as OFP is concerned, US Combat Controllers, are just another USAF AFSOC unit, and would differ from PJ's only in the fact that PJ's are CSAR specialists. PJ's have ( BIG TIME ) medical training, CCT's carry SATCOM phones, and radios. Someone mentioned that CCT's are FAC's, and that's true. It would be awsome to have CCT's in OFP that have scripting built into their config, which would call for artillery, and air support with scripts like the napalm, mortar, and UA addons provide. I'm sure you could just ask around, and recieve help to make your CCT's do that. Other than that they look the same, and are armed the same. You could make minor changes to the basic model, do both in one PBO, and kill two birds with one stone. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
