Harnu 0 Posted June 23, 2004 My guess would be a higher view distance, Very High Terrain Detail, and sun at a lower angle (I.E dawn/dusk, or just after so you don't get the discoloration) to show off all the shadows. Â Then a lensflare in photoshop and crop out what you need. And for some additional stuff to show of the shadows more would be to play with the curves or use the burn tool in certain areas. MrZig 0 Posted June 23, 2004 The shadows on that island can be done via (at least in PSP 7) the shadow tool, I think. It works well on Cat's Afghan island :-)
Mister Frag 0 Posted June 24, 2004 The lens flare effect is part OFP, taking it out and replacing it with a Photoshop one would be a ton of work. (Standard OFP Lens Flare)
svendejong 0 Posted June 24, 2004 Quote[/b] ] a ton of work. One minute

Wilco 944 Posted June 24, 2004 So, is that the photoshop lens flare added into the game? Or just a picture photoshopped?
Nathanz 0 Posted June 24, 2004 From the looks of it ... Its the paint shop pro lens flare (or photoshop)
pang 0 Posted June 24, 2004 i beg to everyone who will submit to the ofp combat photography thread: PLZ DONT MAKE USE OF THE PHOTOSHOP LENS FLARE FX! (you´ll be concidered as a porn- club- flyer- print- artist)  and sven: yes, it´s about one minute if you add the time photoshop needs to load, initiate and read your fonts. actually it´s a simple move to the filters->rendering filters->lens fx  hell, i hate this fx! //edit: ok, you added the time to stamp away the ofp sun. this would make about at least 5minutes work for me then enough OT from me now
Status_cz 0 Posted June 27, 2004 correct anwser: buy VBS1!! Wrong answer! Correct answer: bump your terrain detail setting up to "very high"! Â Yup, VBS1 is just lot of high-quality addons As say smith, you can get this effect when you use high-detail teren, sun raise and some good graphic card ;)
Gollum1 0 Posted June 27, 2004 That picture was dead easy to edit, as Sven showed, the picture is very simple and has basically two colors that you have to clone stamp over, no big deal.

Ninja_STO 0 Posted June 27, 2004 Yes, this is something I also get in the game already. I don't have any fancy graphics card, just the onboard one. Below is a snapshot, although it's not the best example. Others have also posted better shots of it, I'm just showing that even the lowest of systems can have it as well. The glare was more prominent before, but I was more worried about completing the mission than going back to get the better shot
