Great performance by everyone in the swedish team.. damn, we should have won by a silver goal. Penalties are mean.. mean mean mean.. they don't show off who deserved to win. If Holland would have scored before the penalty shoot-out I would have congratulated them. Penalties proves nothing, more like a lottery. We should have won, end of story. (I'm cranky...) denoir 0 Posted June 26, 2004 It's easy to blame Zlatan for the missed penalty, but he saved us from Italy, a match which we (fairly) would have lost without him. Yeah, it sucks that we lost, but it would have sucked even more if we lost in the semis and it would be horrid to lose in the finals. But we would have never gotten so far. We had a good team, but not as good as we expected and it showed in the group games. I think the guys did a splendid job to the best of their abilities, and I'm proud of them. And now, instead of being a stressed-out wreck, I intend to enjoy some football.
