The information found at that site is mostly wrong and outdated. There isn't really any good sites about Norwegian special forces with regards to pictures, or information for that sake. But that goes with the nature of of the job.

If you're interested, the following sites have some information and pictures, but are in Norwegian. So if you don't know Scandi they might be somewhat hard to navigte.

That article is incorrect though and those soldiers seen in the pictures doing.... Err... "Radio operations" are most probably soldiers from AMFBAT (Swedish equivalent of RMC more or less) we do have coastal "SF", but those aren't as plentiful as described in the article. And they are called the Kust jägare (coastal jaegers).

The soldier in the back of the picture have at least done the örnmarschen (eagle marsch) as you can see the insignia on his right arm. Considering how youthfull he is looking I doubt he is anything else then a conscript at fjs. (Parachute ranger school)

Now on a more serious note, there are a couple of more pictures i took. This time members of NORSOF conducting a training excercise at Khartoum Intl. in preperation for possible scenarios they might face during their deployment.

We're still using BAS M4's, but are working on proper weaponry for the people. Again, overall this is WIP.

The HJK is the Parachute Rgt. of the Army, yes, but it is split into FSK and "FJ", and both those units use the red beret, so writing HJK aswell as FSK and FJ is pointless.
