To be really honest: I hope you decide to play this at around 3 pm GMT time, so then I can copy my OFP directory onto my portable hard drive, and play it at uni (in the dead of night) without being harrased by the IT staff.

Then I would have a kick ass ping, and finally be able to show off my skills for the greater good.

Give me a time, and a date, and the required addons, and I'll be there.

What about addons? BD's server usually has shitloads of good but very big addons. And i certainly hope we don't have to dl all of them.

You mentioned 3pm (afternoon) GMT and night. I assume you ment 3AM (Night/morning). Hence the confusion.

OK thanks. I just remembered I have a Pocket assistant that deals withh all this time zone conversions according to my local time, I just have find it and hope it has battery power, (because the at the moment, I'm lacking in the brain power to do it manually)

can someone help me, everytime when I do multiplayer the PC freezes. I cant do anything, tried reinstalling. There was a time when I tried direct play and it froze for the first time.But reinstalling should have solved that no?

Problem solved, but I cant update to 1.96, I tried 1.95 and then 1.96 but it remains on 1.91

Opening OFP the ordinary way won't work......download into main ofp directory and after unpacking click the "beta"-icon. It should work

Run the new FLASHPOINTBETA.EXE that the "beta" updates would have installed into your main OFP directory.

If you run the FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.exe you will only ever run version 1.91 (at least until those beta updates are made official)

yes, you must use the flashpointneta.exe now ..

may i guess the first problem was caused by your firewall

Hehe, don't worry - I've certainly had my share of frustration when trying to install different patches and updates. The various Kegety's snow addons and some of the latest Bas-addons drive me mental.

yeah... I was so happy that my system perform so great. So I took the new ardennes island, ECP mod, hiskies skies and a bunch of stupid heavy weight addons and threw them into battle. FPS was about 13, probably so low because of screenshooting who knows. In 2 years when we got 6 ghz I hope we can finally play big battles at 20fps°

Looks like there are some problems with the scheduled times. I am now working to change them to something more reasonable.

Winters time idea is a great suggestion.

I might have to reset the date for NEXT sunday. That would give me time to make adjustments that would allow for almost EVERYONE to play, if everyone is willing to wait that is. Then we can see more forum members playing in the server. And THAT is a GOOD thing.

I am also on AIM under GhstDrunk if anyone wants to speak to me.
