Very Beta release'sih lots of mislined textures, walls flip when you hit them, also alot of barren spaces eg no vegitation what so ever

also roads lead to nowhere.

hmm, maybe design missions for the places that are finished then?

That doesn't help much as long as the whole island crashes in MP sad_o.gif

The bridge on the Eastside of the map cannot be used by AI controled tanks. The Tiger from Inv44 mod I used got stuck into the bridge...

but i don´t know hich improvements were made from v1 to 1.1.

MD5sum says the files in that "v1.1" are exactly the same as in the v1.0...

There is a pbo from the very 1st version of the island that needs to be in this .zip for it to work in MP. I forgot the name of the pbo but the island still looks for a texture there.

I just redownloaded the alpha, there is a datatex.pbo in it that is not present in later versions. I will try to put that onto the server. Thanks for the info. Maybe this should be fixed in the next version?!?

Which files exactly are missing? Instead of using an old boutiqe.pbo and datatex.pbo i would rather edit the new data2.pbo to include those missing textures...

Never saw him here in this forum. Would be nice if someone could tell him about the problems whitch has been detected here, or if someone could just tell him to fisit this thread and have a look himself.

But i can wait. I waited soooo long for this awsome island, so no problem for me to wait 1 or 2 weeks longer  smile_o.gif

The problem seems to be the texture called bouportec2.paa, which has a size of 8x256.

I can remove textures of the pieces of furniture because they are not in the map

I would look at bouporte.paa, it is a texture of deventures of the shops, it is necessary can be the redimensionner biggrin_o.gif

datatex.pbo is not valid any more crazy_o.gif

Welcome to the forum Jean Cristophe!Excelent work on your island.Are you planing any new versions?In case you missed my suggestions I will repeat them along with others:

Bugs:

-AI can see you in the buildings

-Some trees can`t be run over or destroyed

Suggestions

-bigger Omaha beach

-Dirty texture on buildings,they look too clean right now

-New road textures

-How about damaged buildings models that could be activated via a script to replace the normal ones when destroyed.

in the next version, I will make much buildings destroyed with textures much dirtier, I cannot remake all textures because that takes time, you will be able to play on my map with my tiger,il will be soon on line biggrin_o.gif

I just do not want the AI to be able to see through the buildings and the tall grass. I made a WWII coop in Flers, and the AI could see through the buildings and the tall grass and kill us before we could see them.

It seems that on some servers the graphics hardware can't handle high texture size aspect ratios. Sometimes the limit of working texture rations seems to be at 16 (boutique/bouportec2.paa has 32), sometimes even at 8 (table2.paa and tablepied.paa have 16). Fortunately, the server seems to run fine without textures. So as a server admin you can always remove all textures from the server addons.
