Unhappy customer 0 Posted July 28, 2004 Hey guys if you are interested in modifying your config to suite your needs (such as replacing INQ's AK with your own hint hint wink wink...) then may I suggest going to Pappy's official Psychodelic OFP Y2K3 website. You can find it over mah: http://ofp.gamezone.cz/_hosted/bratty/PB/site/index.html (Go to the "Customizing your OFP experience" section) The posibilities are endless when you start playing around with the config. Â Right now I'm cruising around in the last mission of the CWC campaign in a seaplane Cessna that I downloaded, and tearing up Everon in a 170MPH Porsche 911 Turbo. Also if you are from the UK (I'm not, but I'm sorta fond of the mangled tooth little fellas), you will find that it's fairly easy to change out all of the US soldiers and weapons with UK versions from addons. Â Another idea is to replace Everon Kulgujev Malden with desert/winter/jungle versions, and desert/winter/jungle troops. Pappy Boyington 0 Posted July 28, 2004 no fighting, be nice. its like i said there thou, each mod is enherintly different from one another, as his focus' on all realisum. mine focus on realisum meets gameplay while kur chooses the best of the best of the best addons (released or not) i focus more on the best of the best of whats released already. now i know OFP2 is still a lil way off but its not that far away, OFP1 moding life is nearing a short fuse, i just want to be able to get something out there that will hold us all over until OFP2. anything that says "within the next few months" i really dont hold my breath for cuz OFP2 could be out next week for all we know. so instead of "eh im still waiting on stuff that may not get here til after OFP2" im using stuff thats released so its ready to go and final now in OFP1. Pappy Boyington 0 Posted July 28, 2004 5ton and 5ton open are replaced by a marfy reskin 5ton refuel, repair, ammo replaced by combat hmetts i have devised a special INQ weapon pack that includes the WGL M16A2/M203 as part of it, so yes the M16/203 is replaced by the WGL one but u need the INQ weapon pack provided on my website. im the only one that ofers this addition to it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

action man 0 Posted July 29, 2004 Dear Paps, after reading your very simple and very easy to understand tutorial on customizing your ofp expirience i decided to give it a go!I have replaced HYK_USsol model with other ones and they work great.One little question a litle further on in the cpp we get to" wounds" and then a lot of lines which inclued things likeHYK_USsol\w1\foot.bk.paa. Please can you tell me if i also have to change all these references to HYKUSsol paa.And also what do they do? When i launch the game without this mod i hear all the sounds. I also tried using ECP separately and i get all the sounds there. Of course i've checked the Audio Options in the game  I've downloaded your Full Pack. Sorry i didn't browse all the pages in this thread. Pappy Boyington 0 Posted July 29, 2004 @Action man: the wounds are refering to wound textures (that u will need to get the info from the new soldiers conifg that u use) that just defines the wound textures... like if u shoot him in teh leg the legs get all bloodied up.. its refering to those textures. as of right now ur new soldiers wont show any dammage or wounds on them if hit @no sounds: try a -nomap in your OFP shortcut. the no sounds is caused by a memory error if u have to many addons. -nomap usualy helps solve this Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

ypsilon 0 Posted July 29, 2004 I also had this problem, but there is a simple and quick solution to solve this. Just open the ecp_settings.sqs in your Y2K3-modfolder(via notepad). Search for "explosion simulation" and set ECP_explo_sim_enable = true. Then scroll down a bit to "Timed Hand Grenades" and set ECP_tgren_enable = false.
