Pappy Boyington 0 Posted July 3, 2004 ok file is up. you will need pablos M113A3 pack (obviously) also in the downloads section of the Y2K3 website is a section just for the X-Y2K3 where the download links to the (now) 6 addons needed for this experimental phase of updates and the links for the config and pack are also listed. all you need to download now besides pablos M113's is the config pack *missing addons BAS-Weap bug HOPEFULY fixed. if not i reserve the right to cuss and scream and bitch and hollar *M113 and M113 Ambulance changed to pablos M113A3 Nato *Gun smoke for the M2, Jeep MG, and M113 is now changed to the gun smoke effect of the M113 pack. (this affects anything with the mguncloud defined as its weapon cloud) Note: M113 editor name is now M-113A3 (under West\Armored) and M-113 Ambulance (under West\Support) download links on site or page one of this topic enjoy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ypsilon 0 Posted July 3, 2004 Well that was a quick update I encountered one little issue: the mg of the M113 doesn`t have ammo! That`s really strange because I had the same problem with Pablo`s M113 before you updated the config. It only occured when I was running the Y2K3-Mod. ypsilon 0 Posted July 4, 2004 Never mind the ammo-bug. I reinstalled your mod using the latest files available and the prob solved itself. Must have been a conflict. action man 0 Posted July 4, 2004 Dear Pappy,when i installed the M113A3 pack into my Y2K3 addons folder i was told that CBT_misc.pbo already exists, did i want to replace it. It would seem that rudedogs bradley pack as a pbo of the same name.Please could you tell me if i should replace it or not. Also i still got the missing addon message bas_weap. Looking through the new cpp file i can see that you have added BAS-waep at the end the thing is i had to add BAS_weap. NOTE the hyphen is at the bottom the one in your cpp is in the middle. marine26thmeu 0 Posted July 4, 2004 So far I have no problem with everyone else's BAS error, but when I was using the latest config (w/ exploding bodies) and using the M113 pack as the default something went horribly wrong as I fired the M2 from the M113 in the mission editor and the screen turned completely sky blue with the exception of the armor and fuel bar in the left top portion of the screen. After I tried to escape out of that screen the computer froze or crashed. Immediately after I deleted that config and replaced it with the original OFP Y2K3 5.1 version config. Brutal_Impact 0 Posted July 4, 2004 Its cool that there is music for the civillian cars now. I was a bit dissapointed when I used American vehicles and there was no music. Brutal_Impact 0 Posted July 4, 2004 If you use some civillian cars with this mod (Car(color), Sports Car 1&2, Bus...etc) It has a music player with like 15 full songs. Â When trying to place the Sports Car 1 in the mission editor I get a .sqs error. if you downloaded the XY2K3 beta pack theres a file in there: ssv_documents.pbo that has the sqs and music in it for adding the CD player to all other vehicals "this addaction ["CD Player","\ssv_documents\radio.sqs"]"; put that in the init line of any tanks or car and that will add the option to vehicals other then the civi cars Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Â Thanks well if you know how to add tracks via config its pretty simple. . but you wil need to edit about 5 different scripts including making a new one perhaps at some point ill write out a big long step by step thingy as for the M2 bug on the M113, ummm. i dont know what to tell you. make sure that when you downloaded the M113 pack form pablo you updated your CBT_Misc.pbo file with the one that comes with the M113's Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

NICE Â smoke effect ..... for the guns. hrhrhr really like it but I think it should disappear faster... the smoke clouds are flying away like they wanted to reach heaven ! but still no AT BACKPLAST.... that is something to work on ! but all in all a very good UPDATE FOUND SOMETHING the CREW SOLDIERS: CBT_crew_w_03 are using an M16 as rifle. but the shooting sound is different to those standart soldiers who use the m16 too. is that because you haven't defined the CBT_crew_w_03 as a new class (soars are crew) you just assigned them to the APC right...
