Honestly I really don't think so, as all the movie shots of course didn't cover the gear (well, except for the Queen, but she's unavailable.... smile_o.gif ) so I guess make something up and we'll see. I was considering using parts from other aircraft, but haven't found something that has caught my eye.

After some mission testing, I found out that the original faces for the windshield were being rendered good in the top windows, while the bottom ones (pilot area) were not. they were there mind you, but not right compared to what I wanted. I adjusted those for all variants (redid the whole geometries) and got my version tinted windshields (a la F-16 style):

Small touchup work, there's some more stuff that neph is working on (such as a new fuselage) so I'm staying off of that. However, I remapped the forward pods:

The splinter one at the bottom is to show how better the mapping works for insignias and stuff, while the red is the actual map, and the olive for how it looks with just a "normal" pattern. I have to redraw lines and such, but that's easy enough.

most of the buttons will be animated

the huds will be animated aswell and be changable ;)

Well here's some "maneuverability" shots showing just some of the ways of inserting the APC, plus it gives a good size reference of the dropship:

I would HIGHLY HIGHLY advise doing this stuff MP-wise (and the main focus of this post).  I know I use VBS1, but in a sense the AI hasn't improved much since OFP, so tell it to land at your own risk......

Also you can see a newer version I'm developing for the ramp texture.
