Some animations for replacing original ones

How are these different from Hunter's stuff? I compared the two anim.pbo's and the only difference I can tell is that this one doesn't have the new running animation. Am I missing something?

Hunter stuff? I think I missed something. Where can I get those? I'd like to give em a try too.

Actually, I am working on new anims, I hope it will change your way when you are in fight.

whats new is these animations are compatable with INQ weapons now too. i really like these smile_o.gif

By compatible do you mean that the hand doesn't overlap? Because I used INQ with the last replacement and it worked fine - I didn't notice a difference when I played but maybe I'm not very observant. sad_o.gif

I never checked the death or salute animations, maybe you and Hunter could combine your resources to release a "best of" anim.pbo because he improves the default run significantly.

Nice someone making new standart anims!

The most needet update for OFP these days!

What I would like to see:

New animations of unarmed persons and persons using their pistol:

Now unarmed people sprint slower then people with a rifle. It is worse when they have to run uphill -then they only walk... Sidesteps are slow also.

Pistols are about the same: sidestepping is very slow, running is not existing and sprinting is slow. All this makes pistols about useless for CQB and this does not make sense?!

All in all it seems like these units miss the walk/run toggle with the "F" key.

You should be faster without weapon or with pistol only and more maneuverable.

All this would not only be eye candy it would although improve game play in missions like "escape". In this mission first thing I did was looking for a rifle - not to fight all the Russians Rambo like - but to run faster!  

And Pistols would profit by this a lot too!

Hope it is possible

BTW could someone post some pictures please?

I compare this with my anims and its nearly 99,9% the same..

I fix my anims to inq too and a lot people get this file from me.

The best example is the klekdostani.rtm ...

Compare this with my klekdostani.rtm in OFPANIM and you will see a movement in the front hand ..

The movement is because its hard to place it so that there are no movement and his movement is exactly the same like my ..

Sorry for my Bad English but i think everybody have to know this..

But i hate something like that !!!

Go and play CS smile_o.gif

Yeah, I used your anims at first, but I thought it's not perfect, so I started my work.

I modified several anims from yours, I don't remember the exact number, but it is less than 5. Actually, that was my practice, because I thought some yours anims are great.

After that, I wanted to fix more. So, in the current pbo file, about 16 anims have been modified.   rock.gif

Because of these, I said thank you and Wilco.

Maybe 1 or 2 rtm files in anim.pbo were copied from your pack directly, and they didn't have a chance to be modified. if it is, I am sorry for that. I simply put the rtm files in one folder and try to modify those I don't like.

I wish that didn't bother u.

btw: what does "100% wrong name" mean?

For one thing I think in case these are modified anims it is nescessary to say more than just 'thank you', but to mention explicitly that these are Hunter's, albeit modified, animations. Also asking him first before publishing is at least good style. On the other hand I might remind you guys of Martin, who stopped making his stuff exactly because of this "that's mine, no you can't use it, you have to make everything from scratch by yourself" attitude. Jez guys, why don't you work together???

Nice work Knight. They seem to be a bit 'jaggy' (jumpy, what ever you want to call it) when switching to the new animations from another one, but thats only a small amount, and overall good work.
