Russian helicopters

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know where I could find a Russian helicopter similar to the BAS A/MH 60 rock.gif With all the stuff like rappeling.

Unfortunatly no one has made one yet.

I'd love to see a KA-60 Kasatka in ofp, with fast roping and stuff.

I suppose you could add a rappeling feature to the Mi-17.

Nice looking helo...can't wait to see this one in game....something about that red star on the black background that makles it extra sexy.

Have RHS began modeling it?? Any Oxygen teasers??

Isn't possible just to add the scripts that BAS made on mission editing to any choppers?

I can remember what it say in the readmes. Yes, I do read the readmes(Most of the times biggrin_o.gif )

@CERO.

Yes this is a birdy I've been wanting in OFP for ages. Not only does does it look damn sexy (very important), but it's the ideal mid-range chopper between the little Mi-2 and the Mi-17. I think it would be perfect for modern day special operations insertion missions where the Hoplite doesn't have enough seats and the Mi-17 is too big and unwieldly. smile_o.gif

Just wonderin, but what's that on the tail? An american flag? rock.gif

Its a proxy, you wont see it like that ingame, but it'll allow you to have a flag on the helicopter (useful for CTF missions etc)

Any news from Drewb99 on his own KA-60? He posted some pics quite some time ago of it in-game looking almost finished (on the outside at least).

Currently doing another overhaul on the Mi-24 Hind and want to add repelling scripts to it for speznatz fastroping, oddly enough the Mi-8/17 was more used for this type of mission but Hinds were more than capable of doing this if the HIP wasn't around. As US Army OPFOR we often repelled in off the HIND Vismods to do insane commando raids on rear end support level postions and pinpoint assault strikes on high value enemy targets. Even more fun spanking the high and mighty 82nd Airbornes behind a lot.

KOMRADE WHOS YOUR DADDY!!! ;P

Hey j-man!

I don't know if you are still monitoing this thread but you can always use snYper's excellent SP/MP Support Pack available here in order to use any chopper for fast rope insertion. Yes, it does add another pbo and multiple scripts (entire d/l is only 348 kb), but you will get the ability to fast-rope with additional features without having to wait for someone to release a chopper that does allows fast roping.

Hrm that sound intersting but still wanna do a chopper that does it on its own, kinda and impliment it to a Osprey addon in the works, how does it work anyway? Will it effect units that are already enahnced like the BAS birds.?

Bobcat, stop bringing up 2 month old threads. This is your 3rd or 4th today. I understand you may be new, but this is really really old.

Well looking at the post date on this thread, just over a month old for the first post this isn't that old unless somebodies calander is wrong, seeing it notifies me via tracker and email means it can't be all that dead of a topic. As far as the others there still on going discussions and still active going back and checking on them.
