It would be even cooler if it had a mission editor just like OFP Or how about a medival OFP mod? You'd need to create tons of new animations, but i'm sure it could be done. Tamme 0 Posted January 4, 2004 I've been thinking excactly the same thing as j-man! It would be awesome, but very difficult to make. Thousands of soldiers, it's gonna lag. How about the sword? How 'ya gonna use that? And many more.... Still I'd like to see a game like that one day, but I have Medieval: Total War and Rome: Total War is coming so I'm happy enough now. Uh, the greatest weakness in the OFP engine is how things push each other away! You'd need some amazing scripting to accomplish even *crappy* melee combat! 1000's of soldiers? OFP limit of 12 soldiers in a squad? All-new models and animations? Castle sieges? Have you tried blowing the Everon castle up!? HORSES!? Oh, I could go on and on. You crazy man, you.
