DBR_ONIX 0 Posted January 21, 2006 Large Version Large Version Large Version Large Version Large Version And I'm done All the linked photos are 1204 at the widest lenght, and are around 90-170kb.. All taken on a Fuji S7000, and unedited (I croped one or two, and put an unsharpen mask on the fireworks one), and obviously resizing.. I took over 700 in total (on two 512mb cards, and a 128mb backup), so think yourself lucky your only getting this ammount - Ben
Waterman 0 Posted January 21, 2006 I didn't say the Highlands, I said Highland Perthshire as in north of Perth but not into the Highlands. And I assume it's Scotland, not Australia your are talking about aswell. Nice pics though, quite a selection there. I personally like the landscape shots. der bastler 0 Posted January 21, 2006 The main rotor is nearly finished (blades not yet mounted)... Large version Main frame set and power system is next on list. -- Perhaps I create an AH-6-like chassis (a nod towards BAS) when I''ve learned to control the bird... I guess that'll be in autumn or later... ;-)
der bastler 0 Posted January 21, 2006 Main frame done. Large version Tail and mounting of blades will follow tomorrow.

earl 0 Posted January 22, 2006 Painted up like a bad-guy: Next, a good reason why Conservatives suck! Â Throw away an expensive but fantastically capable aircraft that would have rocked the world, and instead buy expensive and fantastically inadequate american rockets and then refuse to arm them with the nuclear warheads they need to work properly. Â This is the biggest piece that's left of the CF-105, or Avro Arrow. The Bomarc missile is visible in the background.

blackdog~ 0 Posted January 22, 2006 That getty museum building was one of the most overbudget construction projects in the history of the universe if I'm not mistaken... and most of the higher ups involved in the building process were able to retire off of it... just a small factoid. der bastler 0 Posted January 22, 2006 Bastler... what model helicopter kit is that? How much was it? That's an Align T-Rex 450XL, about 150 EUR. Not included but needed are four micro servos (Futaba, 9 grammes, 18 EUR each), one gyro (Futaba Gy401, 120 EUR), one motor (Align 450TH, 40 EUR), two lithium polymer batteries (FlightPower Evo 20, 54 Amp bursts, 63 EUR each) and one motor controller (Kontronik Jazz 40, 140 EUR). RC control set (transmitter, receiver) is needed too, but I already own one (good decade-old Graupner MC-16). Well, it was sort of a personal christmas present from bastler for bastler... ;-)
