Consigliere 0 Posted November 28, 2003 Seeing as the other topic was closed, I thought I'd start a new one  I can't remember your name, but there was someone working on a Learjet...You don't need a website to host pictures, but a good site is http://www.freewebs.com . You can build a site and if not you can always open an account and upload your images to there  Someone also asked what the Russian equivalent of the C-130 was, well I'd say the Antonov AN-12 Cub, which is very similar. This is another aircraft which I'd love to see made for OFP
frk19732001 0 Posted November 28, 2003 i'm a comercial pilot and i have been formed to fly the challenger from bombardier witch is a canadian company making planes and many other things i'm interested if someone could make a corporate jet i'd be glad to help i have been grounded because i'm very sick so i do have alot of free time but i know nothing about modelling i think those kind of plane would be great to create a AIR NOGOVA or NOGOVA AIRLINE. So if someone is interested in taking this on i'd be glad to offer my help in such a project in technicalities of those planes
FragMASTER 0 Posted November 28, 2003 Yeah frk, you can beta test for me. I've dumped the rpm guage for moving throttles, looks nice. The idea of Air Nogova sounded cool, maybe you can come up with a logo for it. And what do you think about the idea of adding cockpit sounds and warnings? I went with Consigliere's advise and.... http://www.freewebs.com/frag_master/index.htm

@cero 0 Posted November 28, 2003 Thanks Consigliere, now I know what to ask for, a AN-12 cub. Seeing that this is not a "1 addon in particular topic", I supose that sugestions about models are welcome. Oh, and a a good site if somebody wants some little info about planes. I reeeeeeally would like a AN-12. I didn't know the plane, but I been looking to some pics and I like it. Besides, I need this kind of transport for a mission .Here is a good site for reference pics, you can even request pics from particular parts of the plane. frk19732001 0 Posted November 28, 2003 okay i'll go to my company and i'll take pictures of the cockpit also the idea of warning sounds inside is great. being inside a cockpit without warning sounds makes you feel like it's empty i can remember during training in the simulator all the warnings i could hear and the scariest one was widshear windshear windshear
Sole 0 Posted November 28, 2003 hmm Antonov 12, there is one standing on the paddock like 24/7 on a near (read about 18km away) small airport (Rotteram Airport a.k.a. Zestienhoven), its from a Hungarian airline if im correct.. thing is, last time I've been to (or even near) that airport is a few years ago so don't ask me to make pics
Supah 0 Posted November 28, 2003 The idea of Air Nogova sounded cool, maybe you can come up with a logo for it. I incorporated the colours and the layout of the nogovan flag we discussed a while back, ralphwiggum still has it in his sig the white end would be the cockpit part. Its a quick edit of a FS2000 texture
GoOB 0 Posted November 28, 2003 I think that the text part should be in Czech since that seems to be the language of Nogova. There are alot of Czech guys availible to help out around here with that But overall that skin looks sweet EDIT: Spelling error

There are alot of Czech guys availible to help out around here with that But overall that skin looks sweet Well maybe in both. English is the language in aviation and there is no official language of nogova, most of us play the missions in english. If people want to have it in czech and someone is kind enough to translate if for me i would be more then happy to make a czech one too

If people want to have it in czech and someone is kind enough to translate if for me i would be more then happy to make a czech one too I don't want to incite an argument or anything but what about Aeroflot? As far as I know their name is written in cyrillic lettering (or whatever it is) on all their aircraft. And also wouldn't a Nogovan airline be pretty much exclusive to the areas around Nogova (Everon, Malden and other places) I think it would look really nice to have it in Czech as that seems to be the language that is used on Nogova (that and English?) Since on the police vehicle we see "Policie" wich I belive is Czech. But do it your way, it will look nice not matter how it comes out
Consigliere 0 Posted November 28, 2003 Oostende airport is full of Antonovs...AN-12s, AN-124s...It's a great place to go if you want to take pictures of these olf flying freight trains.Another good place is Southend...Basically small commercial airports you're more than likely to see Antonovs A Nogovan charter airline, with English titles would be a welcome addition Even CSA, the Czech national airline has English titles, seeing as English is the international aviation language.Even Aeroflot's more recently painted aircraft have English titles. frk19732001 0 Posted November 28, 2003 english is the main aviation language exept in quebec canada where you can speak english and french i can say that some times it's pretty confusing approaching dorval intl or mirabel (both are airports for montreal) i saw an antonof approching dorval once when i was flying a cessna showing some friends the beauty of montreal on a birds eye view that plane was huge compared to my little cessna. When ATC gave me clearence tofly over the city the controller warned me by saying to keep my altitude because i would meet with an antonov that was landing at dorval intl i was most impressed by the size of that bird my oh my

Like Air Japan (Air Nippon) it's not in congie but it is spelled they way japanese people pronouce it.
CanadianTerror 0 Posted November 28, 2003 English makes sense. Awesome logo btw!
blackdog~ 0 Posted November 28, 2003 Strange Jamesia, I always thought that the British spoke Japanese. Who would ever think they would write on English on their airplane?
FragMASTER 0 Posted November 28, 2003 i added the new United Nogovan textures to the plane, but it's a bit fuzzy, wish there was a way to make it unfuzzy. http://www.freewebs.com/frag_master/
edc 0 Posted November 28, 2003 Maybe try using higher resolution textures.

FragMASTER 0 Posted November 30, 2003 What kind of sounds and warnings would you like? my ideas are: pull up warning landing gear up warning tcas an altitude countdown (i.e. 50, 40, 30, 20, 10) a rumbling sound when going down the runway and maybe random radio chatter any other ideas? A stick shaker might be a nice idea, when you get close to stalling it you hear a rattling sound. IRL it would shake the controll column but that might be a bit much to ask
FragMASTER 0 Posted November 30, 2003 OFP already shakes the stick if you use a force feedback joystick. I could try to make a stall warning, dunno exactly how it's done. what do you think about rain sounds?
