This is my new M4A1 Carbine, with both regular and suppressed versions.

Its bassically done now. I made it for my Visnorsk campaign that i'm building. Now, I was wondering what would you guys like. DO you want me to release it to the public or with the campaign. THe plan all along for my visnorsk campaign was to release it and other addons I built for the campaign with it, so people wouldn't be going aorund downloading this and that. But, if you guys would like, I could put it up for a few days for everyone to try out. What ya say?

Not meaning to sound rude but there are a thousand m4's out there. In the same time, there are a thousand U.S weapons you could make, yet everyone chooses the m4 in all its variants. Personally i cant see much difference between this m4 and the BIS m16 (wich i can see it's based on), but as i know how hard it is to make addons, i say good job, keep up the good work, but try to be a bit more unique

I normaly think that it dosen't matter how meany m4's there are and is being made but you should go to google picture shearch and type "colt M4A1" and the press search that should give you a prity good view of how a M4A1 looks.

bmgarcangel, though it might not be the best m4 around, it still leared you a trick or two about addon making (atleast that's what I hope   ). You can use your newly gained experience to make more models, which will reflect the amount of experience you've gained! So, keep up the great work and good luck with your campaign.

The model looks like a good start and getting started is the hard part.

Basically though, the guy started a thread and asked for opinions...he got them. There are too many M4's out there and the opinion is that there are a lot of stuff that people want to see made instead of another M4.

I don't think you can argue with people wanting more variety in weapons.

SOB. Why don't u test it, and examine it, then u will find thats its nothing like that crappy BIS m4. Thats why I made my own, completely, new fucking design, and no offense, but I fucking hate it when people dish other people on there designs and say "oh its from fucking bis! "

bmg. as said befor god start but there is along way to go before it looks like a M4A1. And M4's to day has to look very good to be accepted, cause now adays people want unrealistic gay looking CS M4's

Simple, we cant. Because you have not released it yet.  

First off.  The OICW, well, its not even in service.  And is estimated at around 5 to 6 years before it will be inservice.  Reason = its extremely complicated.  It has a computer and all the other shit on it, for the 20mm explosive round.  Computes distance and such into the bullet, and the whole gun would cost more than you think.  You loose one guy, you loose alot of money with it.

Not to mention i'm not sure when i will release it. Possibly with my visnorsk campaign only, if not that, I will just release it, which would u guys prefer?

that weapon is doing good so far. the above nozzle, like I said, u calculate distance for like a foxhole, then shoot a 20mm round that explodes right above the foxhole. Very affective. Its in testing in Virginia right now

No actualy thats from SOF II and all the guns in his weapon pack are from CS. Read the read me please and give credit where do. (The SOCOM is from CS too.)

The OICW calculates the distace to the fox hole for you and the 20mm airburst was orrigonaly designed to shoot around corners. The fox hole thing came allong a little later in the desing as a selling point.
