On this page you will find the last BETA. Sorry for my English, I usualy speek french...

I have remade the UCE addons, I have take all addon and put them in tree big pack for resistance 1.75, all unit can use handgun. Check it. I send the files at

INFO:

You just need to download one time the UCE_JAM_pack final, after you just need to update UCE_JAM_cpp_beta_0.XX, the UCE_JAM_weapons & UCE_JAM_addons(If needed), thanks Killswitch for this good idea.

You need 4 RAR files. LAST UPDATE : 11 FEB 2004 - YOU CAN DOWNLOAD NOW, I HAVE UPLOADED THE FILES.

INSTALLATION NOTE:

Usage: Unzip all the “PBO†files into the "Operation Flashpoint\Res\Addons" folder. If you download an UCE/JAM add-on .zip that contains one of the files mentioned below, check the version of the downloaded pack (it should say somewhere in a text file included with the download.) If this is newer than the version of this add-on, overwrite.

FEATURES:

- All UCE Weapons in a big pack using JAM_Magazines. Still using BIS_ammo but with some trouble, because I have changed the fire rate to be realistic.

- All UCE Resistance and East. unit in two big packs modified to use handgun.

- All old map and campaign will works with this, the pack used same class type, you can can now erase old UCE add-ons.

- Realistic rates of fires. "Single, Auto" for aks-74u, pmkm, AK-74m, m-70b1, MPi ak-74n.

MULTIPLE SQUAD CHOICE :

- 1985 - Platoon, Squad, Troop, Sniper Team for Infantry & Spetsnaz (AK-74, RPK-74, SVD)

Well, if it uses new class names, how can it be compatible with missions using the original units?

check out rudedog's LSR2JAM addon - it has all of the great weapons from lasers original GRU/Naval russians with JAM weapons. all the ammo types were added in JAM 2

I will not use LSR2JAM because a lot of weapons does not have real fire rates, i will create my own pack...

I hope that new weapons will be added in JAM3...

Hmm... Seems like you didn't change the classnames and the PBO filenames from the weapons coming from the Russian Weapons Pack, so could you please take that download offline and change those, as required in the terms of distribution... Right now its going to cause trouble to people when there are different versions of the same addons floating around which overwrite each other.

I need somehone who can explain me how to change texture folder in Oxygen.

I used Texture wrapper but with some addons, it doesn't works.

Some questions: Do I understand it correctly that the old units are still needed when playing old missions? This seems like a waste of space as the modells and textures would be used twice...

Why no full replacement (like the included replacement for Kegetys' Russian weapons pack) or just a jam extension for the original units? You could have used the old classnames for the non-jam units and just added more classes for the new jam-versions and saved a shitload of disk space.

I'm happy that someone finally fixed the whole UCE set to jam, but I'm in the process of updating my sqads mp addons pack - and size is definitely an issue for us. Using both, the old AND the new units would be just too much.

Well first of all, in the begining I have create UCE_pack to replace UCE_original... But somehone (SDOC) says to me that I have no right to replace the original pack, I forgot why but i know that i have no right to do that... Also I have make tree big files so it's impossible to keep old texture folders.

I have remade the KEGpack but Kegetys write me to say that I must remove these files, so I remove them

I know it's stupid sad_o.gif

So, you must know that only the creator can change original files. So it's why I create new class tag... To avoid this kind of problem.

I don't want to be hated by somehone like Ucee or Kegety's.

Of course old mission will not works but you can still create or update the mission to use this RESISTANCE UCE_JAM_PACK.

Never forget that UCE_pack his made for Operation Flashpoint. I thinks that those who have Resistance must erase old uce units pbo, and keep only this UCE_JAM_pack.

But somehone must update MPmission to.

- Those who create MPmission with UCE_JAM_pack can send me the files, I will put them in the pack.

New pack is there : BETA 0.85

Yes the middle east resistance is in the pack. And everything works fine ;)

You can play with this pack without UCE original files.

All UCE units are there...

I have put Normal & High dispersion squad & troop.

I have added new GAZ_pack, with a lot of weapons.

Well, UCE is no longer updating his old addons - people have already modified them (for example fixed them for resistance). I'd say that if you can't contact him and he doesn't forbid it to you, just do it. Or ask Norsu (who fixed them first for resistance) if he could contact him.

But adding them twice is an incredible waste of space.

As far as Kegetys weapons go - well, that's why you always should ask first.

Well i don't know, i have made tree big pack and now separate them all will take a lot of time.

Can you not erase uce files ?

Somehone can not update MPmission ?

If more than 20 people ask to do it, i will do so, but please, remove uce old pack, and try to make new mission or update it...

Perhaps, I can easely change the class name in config.cpp of the UCE_JAM_pack, I think it would be the best way to keep old MPmission and keep 3 big files, but if I do that old uce pack must be erased... What do you think ?

My opinion: Out with the old, in with the new...Come on what's the problem? I don't understand what Kegety's problem is... rock.gif

This is a clear improvement over the old UCE units, and it's progress, so if he's more interested in himself than in the general community's enjoyment, then let him ban Gazmen from altering his weapons...

I for one like this pack and have already started using it in missions wink_o.gifsmile_o.gif

If an addonmaker has a problem with progress, then his addons aren't gonna stay very popular are they rock.gif

Just wait 5 hours...

O wait, I allready finish it in only 30 minute works, yea, lol

I will put them online when beta test is finish, it will take two hours max...
