Hjaldar 0 Posted November 19, 2003 Hey guys, did you ever notice? We, these "sick and violent war-gamers" (as you can read in the yellow press) having fun together playing, discussing, talking, sharing our thoughts... WITHOUT violence! We have Americans, Europeans, Arabs, Jews, Asians here all mixed up and having fun together PEACEFULLY! I think this is really, really great. Thanks.
Albert Schweitzer 10 Posted November 19, 2003 Quote[/b] ]We have Americans, Europeans, Arabs, Jews, Asians here all mixed up and having fun together PEACEFULLY! Are you kidding? The only reason why we discuss peacefully is because we have blood-sucking moderators that threaten to bann, burn and put a spell on you (i mean me). To make one thing clear. I dissagree with all of you anytime and in every issue to be discussed. In case you change your opnion to agree well then will I change mine to disagree again! Tamme 0 Posted November 19, 2003 I forgot something: After I've completed my time in the airborne, I would very much like to try some UN peacekeeping, but my mom freaks out every time I try to talk about it. Oh wait.. there's nothing to talk about because I'm not going, PERIOD.
iNeo 0 Posted November 19, 2003 I think we had a thread ages ago where people posted pics of themselves (me included)...most regretted it. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=18591 PS No one reply to that thread, it's too old and a classic, just post your pic here... I might in a week or two.

dinger 1 Posted November 19, 2003 33, in dismal midwestern town finishing dissertation on medieval metaphysics. I've spent many years of my life in various parts of Europe and the mediterranean screwing around on some Government's dime (varies according to region). Now I just have to finish this damn thing and get a real job. This week I have to grade 100 papers, mostly ill-conceived descriptions of 5th-C BCE pedarasty with some on the black death, and send out three articles: one on fourteenth-century hylomorphic theory and the crucial difference between a Greek-Latin and a Greek-Arabic-Latin translation, one on the mechanics of cognizing the very essence God (actually, it's a Latin text I'm editing), and one (in Italian) on the only sex act in history that Catholics believe wasn't dirty. The Frenchman 0 Posted November 19, 2003 Another reason why Jazz Band is the best: I'm a vehicle baby! We are playing this! (Of course out version is more complex and better sounding )
The Frenchman 0 Posted November 19, 2003 And speaking of songs..... We played this song 2 years ago. It was the best song that we or in the school history, has been played there. In the song, we arranged 6 drums around the audience. You may not hear the effect but it sounded like a helicopter flyed over your head and landed on the stage. It was interesting of how many Korean war veterans were in the audience Around 6:00 into the song, the percusion section got to play the hell out of the drums and make it sound like gunfire. You can kinda hear it in the backround but ours was......well.....louder. I really suggest you listen to it and if there is any school band that wants to blow the socks off their audience, this is the song..... INCHON..........
