@ Snakeman: Yeah your right. The Sebnam Pack has already weapons like the m16 or the m60 but what's about the M1 Garand, the M1/2 Carbine or the australian weapons like the Enfield 33 or the L1a1? Or the Grease gun? What's about the PPSH 41 or PPSH 43 for the VC or NVA? Of course you can take those weapons from other weapons packs like Walker's but i think if you got everything in one pack you have more of it.

Looks nice but Grease gun is already in Nampack 2.

One weapon that was used in large numbers was MAT-49.

It was a french smg and it was used mainly by Vietcong

I love all your addons  Hawk..just a quick remark ..the bayonet on the M-16A1 looks like the newer version that is found on the more modern M-16/A2.

The M-16A1 had the M-7 Bayonet.. here is a URL to see how it looks like

i was reading somewhere about Vietnam that most soldiers didnt even have bayonets, only hunting knives and shit they bought or brought.

but im not entirely sure

- edit, i now read they gave em to m4 soldiers, but i read a story where a greenhorned Lt. tells everyone to fix bayonets and charge! crazier than that was the fact that most men only had hunting knives

the korean war is a bit forgotten as it was over shadowed by two bigger wars: the nam and WWII but still the mod should be interesting tho (128 downloads) i think there is 4 campaigns

@Speckfire: Yeah it is the newer Version of the AR -15 called M16A1 (not A2) as you mentioned. Here is a link to the pictures i'd took for modellin':

All of these three versions and the M4 "Bushmaster" (with that old Grenadelauncher) are ready to get imported into ofp (ok with some textures problems

I'll fix that bayonet because your right ...

@Bucket man: Yeah your right with that grease gun .. but a made a new one. By the way i meant the owen gun that the ausis used in Vietnam.

Hi Hawk,

Sorry for the misunderstanding ..what I ment to say is that the bayonet (M-9) that you have on your M-16 model is for the newer M-16s. BTW excellent work and thank you very much for your efforts to make OFP more interesting and fixing the bayonet problem

Ok let's stop that bullshit here ... I think the time for emotions is over. Everyone calm down and i will try to bring you the basics and only the basics for this "accident". (I hope we can fix the relationship between our mods soon in an official talk in irc or icq or whatever but not in this thread or in your thread and even not in this forum).

So this are the facts:

Some weeks ago HAMMER aka Lord Wax left our mod and join your team. But he was a member of our mod a month or so. I was the one who recruited him so i think its a kind of my fault that this is happening now. We put our trust in him because we thought that he would be a help and he seemt to by though. Than there came this guy called "KsK" along who made original the M60 Tank which you can see on those screenshots and also the Intruder too. We ask him to cooperate with us and he send us those models (very high poly, i think iam allowed to say that this is real Art ;). HAMMER wanted to make the M60 so he wanted to see the models too. I gave him the link and .... Time went by but we only get a pictures in which hammer wanted to show us the progress with "his" m60 but he also said that it's seemed impossible to put that thing into o2 because of the immense poly number. Than he quited and here are we now.

That's the story behind it.

So i would like to excuse me and my mod because we thought you and your team know this thing about HAMMER and you would support him. That was/is a mistake (i hope so) we've made.

My serious request for you drow is to think about HAMMER and his "dirty" work. Because i don't think that you want to get in trouble with your mod only because this guy made some "dumb" mistakes.

This is no threat of mine its only a hind.

I hope we can come to a peacefully solution because your right we have the same ideas about the vietnam mod.

i am sorry on behalf of my team for posting the screens without first clearing the facts of where they came from,  

but to defend LORD WAX - heres a quote from him.

by the sounds of it the plane is also made by this other modellor, but LORD WAX must have forgot to mention this.

I do defend LORD WAX, as he only released those to us, mod team members, not as a public release.  

And on the same note I defend Wilco for posting the news because we were all simply very excited at the site of them, and its easy to get ahead of yourself in a situation like that.

Hopefully no hard feelings everyone, its a community remember, from now on lets communicate.

If every problem would be fixed like that there would be no war for a long time i believe (yeah and now iam put up me sunglasses and put some nice flowers into my long hair and dance around the fire in my garden, singing "San Francisco" and havin' a big smoke, yeaha

So if Lord Wax is having a talk with KsK everything seems to be ok. But i'll speak with KsK only for the reason that i mentioned before: My faith in Hammer get a big cut. But i hope you'll understand this, drow.
