  2. I'm having issues with mounting the 50 cal on the tripod. I can deploy the tripod but I never get a menu to mount the 50 cal on it. Is the problem me or its a known issue? oh I'm using the latest ACE mod V1.1

    you could try adjusting the amount of ram that vista recognizes. Â start -run - msconfig - boot - advanced options - maximium memory. Â this way you wouldn't have to physically remove the ram and could readjust the ram by changing the amount and restarting vista. Â i prefer it to yanking ram or dual-booting into a legacy os. Â <g> Â it works for my ati card. Â i can't say if it'd address any game stability issues that forceware users have from the 4gb. Thanks Ombas, I was not aware of such a thing. I learned something new today

    Ok update: I was also getting CD protection errors when running with 4GB of Ram. I even updated my Nvidia graphics driver to 163-Beta. It did not solve the issue. As soon as I removed the 2 GB of additional Ram the game now works flawlessly I can confirm now that its 4GB ram issue with vista. I guess Vista users with 4GB or ram need to wait for a patch or remove the extra 2GB I'm running 64 bit Vista Nvidia GTS8800 2.4 GHZ Quadcore.

    I have the same problem now as soon as I upgraded from 2 GB of ram to 4 on Vista 64bit. It was running fine with Nvidia drives 162.something As soon as I went to 4GB all hell broke loose. Now I'm dead in the water till we get a patch or fix

    Thanks for the 2nd patch Tbird. Which line can you modify in config.cpp to reduce the gunfire smoke of the M240 (FN-MAG). It seems excessive from memory and compared to the RPK it's almost double. I can hardly see the tracers even when I give a small burst of 4 tracers (20 rounds)

    Franze is there a way to drop bombs on Infantry ? I mean there is nothing to lock on to launch the weapon accurately. Also will FFAR rockets be added to make it easier ?
