The Democratic Republic of Kyllikki is a tiny, socially progressive nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate population of 5 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

i have been on NS for a long time now( i have several nations), best advise for on the forums, get in and make allies quickly, join a region of allies and protect yourself.

The Federation of Northern Kingdoms is almost ready to go, but I have a problem. If I answer "Strongly disagree" to "Capitalism is on the way out", does that make me a commie or a capitalist? I've never heard anyone say that so I don't know what it means.

The Republic of Antropy is a small, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its strong anti-business politics. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 16 million hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Social Welfare, although Education and Healthcare are secondary priorities. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 56%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Gambling.

Scientists recently cloned the long-extinct feather-bellied rabbit, young children are regularly seen wagering pocket money at blackjack tables, citizens select which government department gets their income tax iron bolts each year, and there have been reports of people marrying housepets. Crime is relatively low. Antropy's national animal is the rabbit, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the iron bolt.

Antropy is ranked 3rd in the region and 36,849th in the world for Largest Soda Pop Sector.

I dont know, but the People's Republic of the Frenchman will crush any non-OFP player!

Hmm..okay, I'm trying to register under edc(what my nationstate was before I got bored w/ it), and its saying that "edc" is reserved because it was a former nation.  What the hell is it reserved for??   I read in their forum(can't post cause I don't have a nation), that its reserved so the person who had it, can get it again if they come back.  So, how do I get it back?

all wars are done as RPs on the forums..or regional board if it is a regional conflict. some get quite entertaining. just remember that for RPing wars no more than 5% of total population can be in the military at any given time(more can be in reserves just not "active duty")

Nope, the faq says:

Yeah, I know it gets deleted in 28 days, and mine was deleted.  But, unfortunately, it won't let me create a new nation w/ the same name, even though it (should) have/has been deleted.

OK, I just made in under a different name. Yes, Malden Islands Group is still around, though there's only 2 nations in it. We could really use some more.

The small government is mainly concerned with Law & Order, although Defence and the Environment are secondary priorities. The average income tax rate is 15%, but much higher for the wealthy. A healthy private sector is led by the Gambling, Trout Farming, and Woodchip Exports industries.

Voting is voluntary and the Husky is a protected species. Crime is moderate. Har Land's national animal is the Husky and its currency is the Dollar.

Har Land is ranked 142nd in the region and 30,893rd in the world for Largest Manufacturing Sector.

Current in legislation : Child gambling. I'm voting to stop it.

As far as roleplaying goes, does anyone understand how it works? People have 'armies' but exactly how do they roleplay a war?
