Â I can't wait to try it out and do a 4 lane CAT launch and also have a deck where I can have some landing room when I trap. Are you going to design a mission to go with it, or just release it? Â If not, could you give me about 3 to 5 days before the release to make a mission utilizing the CAT launch script and the trigger for trapping too. The group placement method does not work vertically (well it didnt last time I checked) Put the Tower on the main hull other wise its going to be a pig to get placed right. DaSquade 0 Posted November 4, 2003 Small but (for me) importent progress... - the first part (noise) model is done + textured. Well, for the moment, i checked it in O2 (+-4.000 faces). Although i'm not really happy about the noise (hull) shape, i think i will leave it (maybee i replace it later). - MOUST importent (for me) the 3Ds (textured) could bee succesfully imported to O2. Although i still have to replace the paths (tested the "browse for textures" in O2, worked but couldn't fined my converted textures). - Unfortunatly, i still have some bad imported faces on the right side of the hull ( can be fixed...just some faces that need to be mirrored and replaced) Anyway, making progress. Some urly test...  .... So far i just concentrated on part 1 and 2. Bought parts are (i guess) +-99% done (model and textures). It only got 1 ViewLOD so far and RoadWayLOD. Oke, didn't wanna do this (addon still in urly developement) but to give you an idea   EEC-Nimitz.pbo test.Intro.rar Bugs known so far: (note still beta) - group placement not jet adjusted + icons still needs to replaced (config based on FLK Hermes...big respect and thanks to CBSFASI and Falklands MOD) - Although (i guess) in the test mission i placed the two parts correctly, there's still a RoadLOD bug between the two. With planes there were no problemes. I guess this will be fixed soon. - The Door.pac quality ingame is not good (blurry). Needs a second look. Feel free to test this addon, but note that this is all test stuff. Far from final release. So any advise, tips and suggestions are welcome!! Enjoy it so far... The number and diversity of missions that could be made with this carrier boggle the mind - it really would bring something new to the game. Great work! DaSquade 0 Posted November 8, 2003 Hmm, once again the RoadLod limites are reached. After some testing i'm starting to realize there's no other way then to split up part 1 into two, and i will have to rework the lenght of part 3 and 4. Although the parts works fine seperated, once placed correctly i have the RoadLod bug. The RoadLod of part 2 (73m-68,8m) works fine  . Anyway, i will have to relook the model and do some serieus testing. @Uncle Sam: the "Glas Bowl" won't be entrebell (was thinking of it). Could be done, maybee i do it later. About the lifts, deflectors (flaps), radars, doors will be working. For the moment i didn't tested it, but got an idea of it. Just a matter of understnding one proper rotation config and selections (not?) and a lot of testing ?  About the weapon layout of the Nimitz i can say that i don't know sh..   Any help on this would be helpfull.   (i noticed on USNavalMOD a guy named "Jacob Bunte" got some weapons...  maybee i try contacting the MOD once again, but since most of them are away for work i don't expect responce) Anyway, once again some delay, but i guess it's worth it.
