Us orchestrated 9/11?

Recommended Posts

Yes, I'd say that if you cant locate your own country on a map you are pretty stupid or ill educated. Or both.

However, America IS easier to find than Norway. You can just chance it. Its one of the biggest nations in the world while Norway is one of the smallest. It takes up almost an entire continent while Norway is just a small stretch of land compared to it. How hard can it be?

What about distinguishing geographic traits? Fjords, for God's sake! When I'm looking for Norway I just look for the country that looks like it was brutally attacked by a weedwhacker tounge_o.gif

Not if you live in Norway. smile_o.gif

You determine someone's intelligence with an IQ test, not asking them to locate something on a map.

Clyde Cessna (founded one of the biggest small airplane manufacturers in the world) only had an 8th grade education, you know.

Really though, they must scrape the bottom of the barrel to find some of these respondents. Noone I know is this *ahem* geographically challenged- sure I know kids who didn't exactly ace Geography class, but noone who couldn't find the US on the map. Maybe they should have the pollsters try surveying the kids in the library instead of the ones out by the dumpsters during class.

If you live in the US and cant locate it on a map, then you are stupid. The US has to be the third easiest country to find, rivaled only by Australia and UK for obvious reasons.

No it means that you are ignorant.

Edit:I'm going to now assume that you are stupid, since you either...

A) Lack the vocabulary to accurately state your point

B) Are mistaken about the true defenition of the words you do use

C)All of the above

Edit2 Oh wait..I'm making the same mistake. tounge_o.gif

"Not if you live in Norway."

I wouldnt be the least bit suprised if more people in Norway could find America on a map than Norway. Mainly because I am pretty sure that the people that can find Norway, can find America and those that cant find Norway can probably still find America. Which is sad.

Amazing to see that there are nearly twice as many crackpots in eastern Germany than western Germany.

Not so surprisingly at all. You must not forget, that they spend most of their life under the heavy influence of anti-american propaganda...

And CNNs translation is correct, könnte = may, could.

About the Poll itself, it was done by Forsa, a well reputed demographic institute.

@ran: In german it would have been BRD (Bundesrepublik Deutschland) and DDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik).

English: FRG (Federal Republic of Germany) and GDR (German Democratic Republic).

In French: RFA (Republique Federal Allemagne) and can't remember the equivalent for the GDR smile_o.gif

Very simple to tell, really. Norway and Sweden are neighbours and the "difficulty" of locating them should be similar.

In the NG survey these were the results:

Question 11:

Quote[/b] ]  Take a minute and look at the map below. The United States of America is shown by what number on the map?

world_map_plain.jpg

Available choices: 10, 15, 46, 25

--------------

Results:

graph11.gif

----------------------

Question 16:

Quote[/b] ]Take a minute and look at the map below. Sweden is shown by what number on the map?

world_map_plain.jpg

Available choices: 5, 11, 43 54

Results:

graph16.gif

---

The really sad thing is that this was not a fair test since it is a multiple choice test. With four given alternatives there is a 25% chance of guessing right. So the real knowledge is worse than this.

Yep it's pretty sad. The reason many American's are so damn ignorant is that our public education system has been slowly screwed over the last 30 years by overly letigious parents who didn't want to take responsibility for their own kids.

Quote[/b] ]The poll also said 68 percent of all Germans felt the media had not reported the full truth behind the attacks, in which some 3,000 people were killed when hijacked planes were crashed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon

I'd seriously like to know how the Germans know the amount killed, if the Media doesnt?

How do the Germans know the correct amount of casualties?

Can you point out how you come to the conclusion in the written above that the people in that poll didn`t believe in the amount of dead? It just says that the people asked in that poll believe that they weren`t told the whole truth behind 9/11 in the media no matter what that means. There`s no connection between that truth and the amount of dead people.

What's also sad is the number of people that think Africa is a country. I don't have a poll as evidence, but I've inwardly cringed many times to hear how it is misused.
