zinco 0 Posted July 13, 2003 i bought in usa so i assume USA version 1.91 ofp/res/dta/hwtl/merged.pbo 0x042c93ca ofp/DTA/hwtl/merged.pbo 0x042c93ca assuming 1.91 will use the res/ one (if it is there  ) we should only need to check res/dta/htwl/merged.pbo refer to this post for the res/dta/data.pbo results: http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=31253
zinco 0 Posted July 13, 2003 can we also continue this with the data ones in this post: http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=31253 those are the ones that have caused the most trouble.

=Matt= 0 Posted July 15, 2003 question: can an addon give a modifed merged.pbo message when that file is original ?? coz in this file, there are only uniform and bush textures... if i see this message is cheating 100% ??
zinco 0 Posted July 15, 2003 i believe it is matt. Â i have never seen a problem with this file giving false messages. Â one guy claims his cd was missing the folder res/dta/hwtl and that is why he got a message. Has anyone ever heard of this? also u can avoid getting false messages by having two addon folders. ofp/addons........keep it with only original bis addons ofp/addons........keep it with all your addons res/addons........keep it with only original bis addons thru 1.91 and don't ever put any in here. Â leave it alone. just swap the ofp/addons back and forth. Â when u play with the ofp/addons that has all the nonbis + bis you will probably get some messages. Â most likely the data ones. some people might need to reinstall. Â i recommend: 1.2 1.46 res 1.91 (NOT BETA) i found that i can use editorupdate102 in my original addons and not get any messages. zinco 0 Posted July 15, 2003 Can we do crc checks on these files to make sure all versions are the same. And also report anything that might add to finding a way to use check files in a reliable way. "res\addons\steyr.pbo", "res\addons\bmp2.pbo", "res\addons\vulcan.pbo", "res\addons\m2a2.pbo", "res\addons\g36a.pbo", "res\bin\config.bin", "res\bin\resource.bin", "res\dta\anims.pbo", "res\dta\anim.pbo", "res\dta\data.pbo", "res\dta\data3d.pbo", "res\dta\hwtl\data.pbo", "res\dta\hwtl\data3d.pbo", "res\dta\hwtl\merged.pbo",
bn880 5 Posted July 15, 2003 If you are going to check CRC's I strongly recommend this app: http://bssite.dns2go.com/ specifically EASY SFV it creates recursive SFV files and everything...
=Matt= 0 Posted July 16, 2003 i use this trick to divide addons and keep ofp folders as original: just to make an ofp/MODS/addons folder and put all addons there, then add to your ofp shortcut -mod=MODS (u can specify also in ASE) if u want to use them
zinco 0 Posted July 16, 2003 can u splain a little more matt? you have ofp/AddOns and ofp/MOD/AddOns and 2 shortcuts one with -mod and that works? the shortcut will only use the mod folder for addons?
