Anyway what does the cargo action do on the puma do?

Hmm... after flying the choppers around a bit I agree that the enemy tanks AND machinegunners take out the pilots WAAAY to easy. The problem is that they aim at the pilots so if you fly right at enemy infantry or an enemy tank you are about 80% likely to die from bullets going through the glass.

So I also hope that in the next update the glass is armored.

Also I don't think I've seen the "Gun" versions of the Gazelle engage enemy armor. But I have to test that out a bit more.

In case anyone was wondering how to activate the fast rope script put this line:

So when will an Armour and Truck/Car pack be released?

These guys are great, but the lack of a truck or jeep makes it hard to make a good mission, but everything included with the packs is all good, espeacially the Puma (can you add a few more cargo positions to the SA-330 Pirate version?). The sounds for the units are good, and the dust effects are good too, they dont slow the game like the Commanche did, but these addons are VERY good, i just need a truck (and jeep preferably), and maybe an APC and tank, then i'm good

Also has anyone asked you if they can make a British version/Skin of the Puma?

Finally someone gave the rifle grenades a correct and usefull sighting system -- but why limit the carry by giving each grenade a two items size ? --

As for the non reloadable rocket launchers, good initiative.

All it has been said here will be relayed to our forum for next versions.

some answers to some questions :

first, the legion troops are not included yet in the packs, but one of our modder who worked on our infantry, maid legion troops a while ago (before he joined the mod).

maybe it will be included to OFrP in the future.

Some infos are missing (especially with some scripts).. We were very busy and we do forget some things. We will make some documents, readme, and notice for the addons soon.

the vehicules and armored pack are in progress. We haven't forgotten the Leclerc, and all other basic vehicles of the french army (VAB, VBL, trucks, P4, etc....)

A news will be done maybe today or tomorrow for the next packs.

for the armored glasses, I don't really know how it is in real life, but I thinks our choppers are not so far of reality. We'll examine these params and maybe change them in version 2

Hotshot; fair point about the rotor wash. These halos have the medium between the more consuming [but more representitive] RAH66 and the very minimal BAS scripts. Even though the real things can produce dust clouds WAY bigger than any addon has so far, this has the right mix between realism and and minimal slow down.

That said: your grass effects are very good, and look great. I think these addons ahve the best rotor wash out of all three types.

Great looking choppers, especially the Puma! Only one thing i did see, if all the addons require each other, would it not make more sense to put them all in one download?

well you're maybe right... that's a discussion that lasts from the beginning of the mod.

We had the choice of 1 files, 5 or 6 files (category like now) or all vehicules and units in separated files.

Make a unique file is a good idea, but we have some 56k in our team... and they didn't want to upload and download lots of megas each times. This solution is a compromise to help our 56k

I don't know if this was done on purpose but with one of the FAMAS Grenade Launchers, when you select it the gun is on its side and there are distance carets on the left of the screen, just in the air,not in a scope...I love the sounds,if only they were louder.

But I love this addon..Great job guys!

I like your choppers, but i have a real problem with your "Arms" and "Infantry" addonpacks!

Every time i put them all together in the addon folder... my PC crashes! (happend 3 times when i tried it) BUT when i just put the Chopper pack in it works fine...

This is really pissing me off because i like the famas very much!

Does someone experiance the same problem?

I love the Choppers, exellent work on them and great quality!
