The Breed demo is worth checking out it reminds me of OFP with the wide open levels and vehicles....

It reminds me alot of Halo.....

i think its going to be a very good game, one big advanatage over ofp is its vechicle control, u can walk inside them u can have many guns, i got the tank and loaded 3 guys in it it was cool as they fired in all directions. I then fiddled with the script to get the space ships and drop ship, loaded my guys into the drop ship and flew into space and landed on the ship. Its pretty incomplete tho this demo, the space ships dont have the first person view seen in screen shots, the tank dosnt either, yet the broken tanks has a first person view. When this game is finshed i think it will be very good, cooperative multiplayer and the usual modes sound very cool and it runs great on my 850mhz. Its a bit like ofp in the future, havnt tried halo. Other good points tho is indoor fighting looks like it dose that well to, judging from the big space ship and screen shots.

Somehow the Grunts look like a mixture of Terran Marines and Halo soldiers... Thats pretty cool. I'm just not sure if I want to d/l it or not. On a scale of 1-10, how do you guys who have played the game rate it?

Well I thought it was choppy as hell, but then I realized I had 4xS AA and 8x AF on After that it played smooth, but I haven't played that much because there is no way to skip the ingame movies as I tweaked my system I got tired of it. Terrible voice acting just drove my away from hitting the play button again.

Well, the training and gameplay look first rate. You can order your small squad with some basic commands and you can use vehicles and static guns. The graphics are just impressive and the open terrain makes this more interesting than the usual FPS. Looks like a fun game I even might consider getting. Nice demo, although it's definitely a beta demo (had some graphic errors in 24bitx1600x1024 mode).

The constant head bobbing is an annoyance,as is the bloody awful voice acting. Strangely enough, it doesn't look that amazing either. Halo came out ages ago, and it still looks better.

Its mp will be interesting, capital ship vs capital ship mode where u have to land on the other ship and plant a bomb.

Just played the demo last night. I'd been looking forward to this one for a while but it left me rather cold. I'd hoped for OFP is space but instead got Conflict Desert Storm in space. We'll see how it evolves but I'm not excited.

Ok, I got it working (had to run it in a window ).

It was pretty fun, would take some getting used to.

I didn't see anything new that would make me want to quit OFP.
