Do we need female soldier?

I think it's due to to women having a different sense of priorities and once commited will not hesitate to do nasty stuff and have a lot of leadership unlike the clumsy, unorganised me who just bumble around and then get shot by more clumsy, bumbling men with even more guns.

For what it's worth in regards to adding children to the game, Africa has had, does have and probably will always have a lot of child soldiers. Look at any recent conflict there, especially Sierra Leone where I think one of the major rebel armies was composed of 70-80% children under 18, and you have a moral dilemma on your hands as to whether or not to include them in any mission set in Africa. Yeah, it would be realistic, but would it be realistic?

I voted YES, but i suggest the amount of different female models/voices should be kept to about 20-30% of the total. There really aren't that many active female players (unfortunately )

I know women can be real bad-asses if they want to, and they often think far clearer than men, so I don't vote "no" from being sexist - however, I might vote "no" because I think shooting at women would make my little romantic heart weap... it's just not right... not right I say!

Maybe BIS should focus to make the male soldiers' AI actually think a single worthy thought during combat, before making bold attempts at implementing women - there is no way the current AI could live up to that of a woman.

For Me the Idea of shooting a woman is unpleasant, and same goes for a child, in OFP on thing that is brought up a lot is realism, you have to think, well it would be more realistic, to have people explode, blood and gore everywhere. Women in Combat is a reality, that should not be over looked by OFP, especialy considering the Wars comming in the forseeable future, where Total War is the only kind of war, civilians are not only killed in combat but kill in combat, making a very ickiy situation (i.e. Somalia crouds of civilians with one or two gun men taking Cheap shots at U.S. Personel) or human sheilds, and then there was the incedent in Iraq where a Van whent through a checkpoint and the van was shot up, and inside only the bodies of women and children, well women are not allowed to drive in Iraq, or even show their face, what would a woman be doing driving a Van though a check point if not to be shot, so the world could say bad Bush (I've been saing that since 2000, but that's off topic) the point is women are in combat, deal with it.

Therefore I say put women in OFP, it will only make it more real and better (leave out the extream blood though, it's just a game). Case and Point!

As a believer in equal opportunity and all other things like that, yep, OFP needs women soldiers. That way I can practice my Chauvanistic Pig arrogance as I order all them gun totin' ladies into the battlefield while me and the boys sit back in the bar drinking to the ladies health and well being. God Bless them that don't make it. Ain't war hell!

(Note: this is purely for fun and no self respecting lady should be offended by the above. As an ex serviceman that was cared for quite adequately on returning from Vietnam by women of the Medical Corps, I have a deep respect for any woman who serves her country in any branch of the armed forces, whether in a combatant on non-combatant role)

Female soldiers wear the same camo as the men.And are Combat ready if needed.They can die for there country just as well as the men.An as far Flashpoint 2 goes.I wouldnt like to play any mission that had a female soldier in it.I dont like the idea of a women dying in combat.But that doesnt mean that its not needed.

on note of what people are saying on the matter,  I think both males and females can be rated on a scale for all kinds of attributes, so classing either as better or worse in any regard is just pointless.. also I don't think anyone likes to see anyone die be it fe/male child or adult (humans, and to some extent animals). Implimenting female soldiers would only serve to improve the simulation as a whole, not break your fragile little hearts, guys

When it comes to units my number one wish for Bis is to make some animals. Particularly wild donkeys, working donkeys and entertainment donkeys. Im sure this is a small thing to do and it's a matter of a few hours work. So once they are done with that they may do female soldiers or whatever they want to

I don't want to see some goddamned "hizzo" wearing lipstick and makeup or some barbie doll that would realistically never be in the military to begin with. I'd have to say if they made the female character appropriate. Then I'd have no problem. Incidentally Sigourney Weaver played the best prepresentation of a woman of combat in my opinion in aliens.

Look at how the community totally disrespects the amazon addon. (rightfully so I say). Did anyone catch the previous OFP.info screenshot? There have been many other demeaning ones on similar websites. Opflashpoint.org too I think. That's what happens when you try to put some hoe-bag in a military situation. Booyah.
