The action menu is in german, what a piece of crap!

It's a shame that they didn't make scripts for AI to fly it

Nice...but I can't believe how heavily armored this thing is - it took the combined efforts of an SA-13, Shilka and ZU23 almost 2 minutes to take down!

Could somebody please enlighten me as to the number of Airwolf Mods out there??! I mean if there are 2 then the second one is BLATANTLY trying to steal the limelight from the first.It's not like there's a HUUUGE demand for a chopper that doesn't even exist,only from TV So for a second person to decide to make one that can be the only reason IMO.

There are only 2 Mods. Martin helps the guys of the mod, of which this thread is about.

Similar to airwolf but it has red on it and it had a laser....be good for the EAST side on airwolf vs. redwolf dogfights.

is it just me or does the model in the picture differ from the one downloaded (ranairwolf.zip).

photo has more detail (e.g, airwolfs weak spot / sensors, window vents)

As for your comment Shashman, quite untrue, I am glad we have a choice of which mod to go with, the first one has been in development for a very long time, and it still has not been released (over a year now, and by the looks of things maybe 2 in total)! there simply is no issue of anyone stealing someones "limelight". The creators of the first airwolf mod own no such copyright.

It is good to see modders that are willing to release beta versions of their work, the creators of the first Airwolf mod simply refuse to do so (even after countless requests by the fanbase, and frankly the attitude displayed by Tomasz Sopylo is terrible, as evident by the posts in his forum)!

To the creators of ranairwolf, keep up the good work, you guys RULE!

There are two MOD's:

1). Airwolf Mod (also known as AWMOD or "The Original Airwolf Mod") (we're working on this MOD since winter/spring of 2002 and first public informations were presented in august 2002) - http://awmod.uni.cc/

2). German Airwolf Mod (also known as... Airwolf Mod or AW MOD (what a suprise)) which originates from Lord Ragnarion's Airwolf Model, RedWolf recently received this model and is continuing to work on it with some other guys, Martin made some improvements to this model - http://www.airwolf-mod.de.vu/

It's up to publicity to decide who is stealing limelight (and maybe not only limelight) from who (I'm not even asking you to compare picture at the top of the second page with the picture at the first page ;-)

Please don't mix the German Mod up with the original one.

PS1.: There is no cooperation between these two Mod's and for some reasons there will be no cooperation in the future.

PS2.: There is also no competition between the Original Airwolf Mod and the other one (at least there is no competition from our side) - we have our own goals (which were set a long time ago) and we're realizing them according to a plan.
