HellToupee 0 Posted April 17, 2003 Im a big fan of RTCW played it for as long as i have ofp, its been my mp side of things, the latest news on its sequel Enemy terrortory is its now going to be a free standalone game. It started as a addon then standalone game to be full price sequel, but sp wasnt considered up to par so it was scrapped and it was to be a free upgrade/mod for rtcw, now its back to standalone but a free MP only game. Good points 1. With PB its 96% cheat free, i havnt seen that 4% well maybee once when some guys tested a wall hack and showed us the screens then sent it off to PB and the nxt day it was gone. 2. Team play style a bit like TFC but with less classes but more useful 3. Q3 engine its ported to linux and mac, ET is said to have a working linux verson for the mp test next week. 4. free and not some hunk of crap like americas army. He has to blow up the objectives or things blocking the way, In ET he can use landmines build bridges in some levels for a tank or sumthing and can use a rifle with grenade launcher attachment. The medic my fav he gives out health and can revive the wounded if they arnt gibbed. Can only use the smg of his side. the Soldier, he can use anyweapon, panzafaust mg42/browing(in ET) flamethrower, and the smgs. Spy(new class) he has the sniper rifle instead of the soldat, and can do spy like things, steal uniforms back stab unwary gamers etc. As for Americans army i hated that game, it was so bogged down with politics it wasnt fun, you had to do training and stuff, it felt like a half arsed game. Where as RTCW:ET will be a true game a worthly retail game just lacking single player, as for bots, th bots r in the air at the moment if they get the bots right RTCW:ET willcome with them, just have to wait and see, the MP test should be next week some time im looking foward to it. N.o.R.S.u 0 Posted April 24, 2003 True, in Wolf 3D Germans spoke German, although it was quite rediculous. Wonder why they didn't keep those classic slogans in RTCW . Anyway I like RTCWs multiplayer, it's just that the teamwork is always there. Even the n00bs and l337s work as a team and thats a major achievement from Nerve (guys who did the MP). Your name looks familiar to me and i used to play on those servers...<span id='postcolor'> where would these be ive sometimes had to play on auz servers, and once on a few american ones so u might have seen me. The test is out now tho i like it its got mortars the spy is the funnest thing ever. Just its real laggy wit some bug at the mo, a few sounds arnt great, and most arnt happy with the new voices beta testers included. But the final game should be a winner, its got a linux verson to.
