i didnt get it its a mission bugs or its addon bugs Avon?

Re the mission:

The LTD, i've never had any prob at all with it. I simply tell the gunner to target each building, fire the laser onto it, tell the apache to target the laser,and he shoots it with hellfires. As it says in breifing to hit it with multiple hellfires, not "blow it up", i dont spend every hellfire on one building, but send 4-5 into each. There is no scripts running that part, its just plain simple parts of the game.

And after the stinger part, when you land before CAS, alot of enemy units spawn, i dont have a problem with that section, if your computer can't handle it then its not really a bug.

Any other "bugs" ?

Just when i thought it was getting a lil boring on the OFP addon front....

Excellent addon, Kudos to the BAS team!

little question concerning the demo mission; what is supposed to happen at the CAS part of the demo mission? I used the LD to mark for the hellfires on enemy infantry (now thats OVERKILL hehehe) After they are all dead (cant see any others, at least), nothing happens..... whats the deal here?

I see no error on LTD it works fine as for the mission the intro man the BEST Intro mission it looks zuperrrrrrr oh Superrrrrrr

I liked the intro more than the addon self tounge.gif

Topcover, unfourtunatley i think that part comes down to luck, i've had the same prob too sometimes. If i update that mission i think i will add an action for "all clear, return to base", to make that objective more smooth.

Smoke Rockets.....

With real FFARs you sometimes get null explosions, depending on what they impact with.

Ours fail too, but the other way round.

We have to switch rockets to the smoke ammo at some point, and that is done using heght detection.

If you fire the smoke rocket at a slope, the height detection isnt accurate/fast enough to allow for that. I had to compromise in that regard.

However, the smokes are for target marking, and most targets wont be on a slope....

They should work just fine over flatter ground.

ok.. those apache's look a little attractive in those photo's.. are those Standard BIS ones? they a look a little black, a little modern.. and defintly sexy. Too Tall.. tell us.. whered u get em?

those are BIS ones. wink.gif just gotta havem in the right setting and they look nicer. took taht pic on jelhabet island (or however u spell it). but yes those are in fact BIS AH64

Question to BAS and all others.

I´m using "vrs.sqs" Vehicle Respawn Script By KaRRiLLioN

You can easily add other Vehicles to the script to let them spawn.

Now comes the problem. If I add a Kiowa to the list e.g. "BAS_TH57" two things happen:

First I have to make respawntime over 4minutes because OFP will crash to Desktop when Vehicle try to spawn. I think it´s while BAS burning script is running on a destroyed Kiowa.

It´s not really a problem because Vehicle don´t must spawn in short times.

But now the strange thing:

If for example the BAS_TH57 spawns, the normal BIS Kiowa appears. crazy.gif

Isn´t "BAS_TH57" the correct name? Or is that script I use not perfect.

Please anyone help to find out whats the problem.

Ok, solved the problem by my self.

I´m using a newer script found Here!

For the Kiowa you just have to change the spawn delay to 300sec.

I have a quick question, if any of the BAS fellows are still reading this thread-mainly TJ- :

I love your scripts. More to the point, I love your "dust" script, which doesn't seem to slow my computer down in the slightest and looks much (no offense to the DKM mod) better than the comanche RAH-66's. Is there anyway you could incorporate this script to work with all standard BIS helicopters?

It seems such a shame to have such a great script on only one helicopter, and I'm quite stupid when it comes to editing scripts and the such.
