I personally have a .22 (don't laugh ) rifle similiar in design to the pic posted above.

My grandfather gave my Dad and which I might get handed down:

An authentic Luger my gramps brought from WW2

A .45 also from WW2

A .38 also from WW2

A japanese infantry rifle also from WW2

My grandfather also has about 30 odd guns of various calibers that are being distributed amongst the grandkids (my grandfather is getting old ). My brother (the bastard) grabbed the samurai officer sword from WW2.

I still remember the Ruger 10-22 that my dad's friend turned into fully auto. HE had these 100 round mags for it, and when he cut loose it sounded like a viscious mad sewing machine. He only got 3-4 mags through it in full auto before there was problems with the mechanism, but it was a hoot while it lasted

Its not full auto, but more like the first gatling gun ever made.Where you had to crank the gun, in order to fire full auto.

I used to have a really nice 1898 30-40 Krag Jorgensen carbine from the Spanish American War. After firing that puppy you get to understand how the phrase"civilize 'em with a Krag" originated. It was a monster round designed to knock down a charging cavalry horse. Nasty old steel buttplate let you know what you were firing as well. It had an inovative five shot box magazine just below the bolt. It was a nice piece, and I wish I hadn't sold it!

I only have a pellet gun (bleh) to shoot at stuff... its fun every once in a while to put a clean hole through a quarter.

However my dad owns a lot of guns mainly for bird hunting, deer hunting, etc...

Soon 'we' will have an M1911 from 'the olden days'.

Heh... also can't forget the dynamite. Seal bombs from seal world. Man those are fun, just huck one over into a bunch of reeds and you'll have ducks cooked and ready for dinner.

It's quite fun to have a few shots some times, very relaxing.

I only have a Browning Buckmark .22 and 92FS (unfortunately not the INOX) at the moment.

Since noone knows wen my HK Mk23 arrives the distributor offered to let me borrow one untill I receive mine. I'll most probably get it in the beginning of next week. I'll probably take some photos then and post them here.

Also waiting on a Beretta 96FS steel vertec (new model realease date oct'03) -same as Billennium but not a limited edition.

If only I had a hefty back-account I'd be a gun-collector too

u must ahve pretty powerful pellet guns,over here the most powerful one u can get without a license would only dent a 1p slightly.

Some company made a .50 air rifle but u needed a license to buy and it had an insane price tag wich is pants considering they used to make airguns for hunting stuff like deer in the 17th century  

ps,where do u guys go shootingg apart from ur land/backyard?

Over here u can only shoot on private land with owners permission.

Hehe if I ever get a license for pistols then the Beretta 92fs Inox will be the first one I`ll get .

So here is what I own private:

A Browning GP35 Military issue pistol in 9mm Luger

Not strictly used private. I bought it for my job.

cal: .380 Auto

Job weapons:

My standard P8.

My standard G36. Sometimes I use the K version and the

NS 80 night vision.

My very best friend for some years now:

I love the 40mm layout and the versatile ammo for it. Has a nice ballistic flightpath and excellent accuracy even on far targets.

That´s it basically. I dont count Pzfst3 or other equipment in right now, cause they are mission dependant.

Generally not. I dont take the Browning anywhere  

The Glock 25 is used for inner european travels and security jobs we sometimes have to do. I chose it cause of it´s good balance, grip and the magazine capacity. I certainly would not take it into an abroad mission cause ammo support is not always granted for non-staff weapons.

Anyway we have a rather open "custom" rule. Weapons we use are sometimes modified to fit the special wishes of the owners. Some of us have laser pointers at the G36 for CC.

Some also prefer the K version of the G36 to the regular version, so they take it when they are sent abroad. It pays to be no regular grunt.

The K version is designed for Mountain units and paratroopers.

It is basically the same as the G36 but the shoulder piece is foldable.

It´s good for housefighting and CC to have the possibility to fold the shoulderpiece.
