I think TOW did it with their "assult vehicle" or what not. And it's missiles on vehicles thats impossible (since that's what their GL was simulating. A TOW rocket)

WE will NOT be updating the MH-47 just to add extra cargo slots.

The game engine limitation mentioned in the readme, was the fact that at the time we could not produce new custom animations for the cargo. Also, if you've ever filled the MH-47 up, have you noticed how full it gets?? There isnt much room to fit more cargo into the helicopter...

In fact, we have tested ofp to the maximum cargo limits, and I have managed to fit 99 cargo proxies onto a vehicle, so there is no technological "deficiency" there.

Regarding grenade launchers on vehicles, they are not capable of firing real "grenades" as such (ones with models) BUT the Mk19 Grenade Launcher is more like a machine gun, than a launcher such as the M203. The Mk19 is capable of fireing around 350 rounds per minute, at around 250 meters per second.

For these two reasons we have configured the Mk19 Grenade Launcher to fire like a mahinegun (with tracers - these will be edited to the most suitable colour) at a suitable fire rate, with a suitable muzzel velocity.

The weapon does however act just like a Mk19 would in real life, and the AI uses it very effectively.

And GoOB - it was Operation Gulf War Crisis that simulated a TOW launcher with a suitably configured Machine gun config

since they seem to just get shot down alot by the ai

and in reality they are very hard to hit since they are very fast

not even 1 mh6 chopper was shot down during somalia conflict

so i was just wondering since u really cant make the ai machine gunner to miss no matter how fast the chopper is so why dont make them tougher

or can u amke the chopper faster so that ai shooters can miss??

From what I've been reading about AH/MH-6s, they tend to get shot down a lot in real life as well. I know several were knocked out during the invasion of Panama in 1989. The best thing they have going for them is their speed and small size.

No matter how fast a chopper can fly, insertion time is always very risky.

Really it's up to mission designers to enable the most realistic actions for the choppers in the missions, we dont want to give the LB's more armour than is suitable, especially when compensating at mission design level is so easy.

I remember that a quite long time ago Marfy showed on his site in-game shots of his desert M113 with soldiers backpacks hanging on its sides, bun when you guys at BAS revield some screnies of his units with your soldiers, those backpacks were gone.

Any comments on that?
