looks very good..... one thing....... isn't the turret a little smaller?

(I'll scan in some pictures of the BMP3 and post them)

Actually, yes, I think the model is fine. I was just expecting the BMP-3 to look more like the BMP that is already in flashpoint.

One thing I noticed are that the textures of the periscopes are too bright. They make the tank clearly visible even at night.

In RL I bet the glasses are especially made so that they don't reflect light so much.

Beside this it's a really nice model! smile.gif

Here's a suggestion, if you haven't already, then make it engage air targets too! I think the OFP BMP's get shot up too easily by choppers when they can't defend themselves.

Ah, very good indeed! First we get BTR-70, then T-90, and now BMP-3. Excellent.

I would like you to make two versions if possible, one regular green and one with a camo like this:

It's BMD-2, i think. Airborn carrier, it used by VDV (vozdushno-desantnye viyska - airborn division).

BMP-3 used by "motostrelki" - common infantry.

DigitalCenturion, I know that mailmann make too a BMP3 (here a screenshots of he work).

A BMP3 with camo, but if you want, I can make a BMP3 with similar camo, that's no problem smile.gif but why make 2x the same work ?

Oh ok, didnt know that. I suppose im content with the notion that i'll get a camo bmp3.. Tough it will be interesting to see wich of the two bmps get released first, and wich is of higher quality..

hey Vladimir!

The BMP3 rocks. Was testing it and like I say you I like it so much. Please can you make the turret hatch more little? You can't see well to the front while you at at commander/gunner turn out position. And also please can you use more "dark" textures for the persicopes? I like a lot to see the periscopes details in vehicles but maybe if you dark these ones a little it will look more nice with the textures of the model. Just and idea... I will contact u via ICQ with more reports, just want to make a little one here of the beta testing. The sounds are super and the simulation of all the guns (tracers and values) are great!! Thanks!

Vikingo I need to ask an unrealted question here. The heavy M2 pack you released, how did you get the units to fire at APCs and Aircraft. I need this sort of effect for a mission I am making, I want the M2's and jeeps with MGs' to fire at the apcs and helis

No problem! All the magic in the "heavy" M2 or the "heavy" M113 I "build" is the ammo config part. I just make the bullets more powerful and the weapons that use those bullets engage APCs and helis wink.gif

I always like that cos the sounds of the bullets hiting hehe

Here I copy/paste the part of the config.cpp you need...

The important things are these:

   explosive=0;

   hit=30;indirectHit=20;indirectHitRange=0.20;

   minRange=4;

don't remember the original values of the game but well that are the changed parts...
