All-time best missions list

Recommended Posts

My all-time favorites are the Task Force Eagle missions by CPL_Buddha. They were supposed to be part of the "Republic of Jurdik" campaign set, but only three missions + a stunning trailer were released. They were released waay back when we got the first upgrade packs.

"Republic Of Jurdik"

Anybody here remember those? I have'nt seen them on any sites. Avon Lady, you should post them on your MOM biggrin.gif

I've been playing around with these missions in the editor, using new units(BAS Rangers and Deltas, Marfy stuff...).  Anyway, anybody here remember those?  I have'nt seen them on any sites.  Avon Lady, I'm surprised they arent on your MOM biggrin.gif

I hope PRiME never reads this but my favourite is a coop at the moment that he made.

It's called "The Sniper" and it's made for Kegetys' Winter Nogojev.

Its bloody hard, well impossibly hard, we've played it a zillion times and never come close to finishing it.

If someone wants to "update" another persons mission, either by updating an old mission to utilise resistance features such as pistols etc., or update it with addons, like changing units for BAS/DKM or HK pack units, what is the proper etiquette?

Is it OK to release it as long as you fully credit the original mission maker, or should you seek specific permission first?

Anything at all by Tactician: the man is a genius. In particular C&H Drymouth, C&H One Road, as Shrike said, and Lowlands are all maps which are far and above the competition. If only I could con EFL into adopting them as official maps... smile.gif

Yes Drymouth is ok, and One Road is a bloody good mission. I also like Highlands C&H, that is better than both of those in my opinion.

My mission is the best i've played. tounge.gif

Seriously.

EVERYONE who plays it cant fault a single thing with it, apart from the gay as fuck intro, by the little fieg 'KillerKid'.

Custom Sounds from Rainbow-Six and all...

D A V I D I A N

By the way, im usually known as "Slayer", but when i registered here ages ago i didnt even know how to make missions, so i didnt have the nickname "Slayer".

#1 vote for IceBone's coop missions

http://ofpmissions.topcities.com

Their dynamic scenarios, large mission areas, unpredictable AI and nice mission design result in real challenging missions with gr8 replay value and block Rambo style approaches.

Can anyone reccomend some good single player missions for V1.46?

It's turning into a pet peeve: hear about some wicked mission or campaign, says nothing about what version it requires... I d/l it, and *BAM!*

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">Requires Operation Flashpoint version 1.90 or higher<span id='postcolor'>

Yeah, yeah, I know.. my fault for not having Resistance... smile.gif

Hey there fellow canadian, I'm having that same problem...My comp most likly won't run resistance well...(ghad damn laptop) but i've taken it on to create some missions for us 1.46 users...:)

I've got one made now and hope to have one more vietnam mission done within the week and then try my hand at a Canadian units desert style mission.

Here's my page

Doolie's Missions

No ones who's played it so far has given me any feedback so please give me some!  Hell i thought it's a good mission but i dunno what other people think.

I'd like to nominate my mission Operation LoJack. Any here even played it?

1.46 compatible version:

http://toadlife.net/ofp/operation_lojack.php

1.85+ compatible version (this version is MUCH better than the 1st version):

http://toadlife.net/ofp/operation_lojack_2.php

On my site I have little polls where you can rate my missions:

For Operation LoJack (1.46 compatible) here is the current tally:

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">

Rate the mission 'Operation Lojack'

It kicked ass! 63.4%

It was very good! 26.8%

It was ok 4.9%

Not very good 0.0%

It really sucked 0.0%

It really, really, REALLY sucked 4.9%

Total votes: 41

<span id='postcolor'>

For Operation LoJack 2 (1.85+ compatible) here is the current tally:

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">

What did you think of Operation Lojack 2?

Total votes: 26

<span id='postcolor'>

I'd like to get a hold of the dudes who voted "It sucked". tounge.gif

Operation Firelord, anyone?! Come on! If you don't know Devilchasers mission, then you are no true OFP fan! I'm telling him no one voted for his mission! Anger will ensue! tounge.gif

And yes, Operation Lojack is one of THE best missions for OFP. Especially version 2 with the BAS Rangers/Delta pack.

Doolie: Have you gotten the stuff off Operation Northstar's site?

Good, good Canadian forces stuff, but if you can, try and get everything.

The tanks are modeled a bit closer to realism, so getting the Adversary Tanks pack balances it a bit.

(Though the mission included on their site I find runs a bit slow, even on my P$ 1.7Ghz, GeForce3Ti200, 512MB RAM Desktop)

As for your mission, I put it in my Users/Missions folder, but it doesn't show up, so I put it in my /Missions folder, and the intro looks nice, but after the chopper says it can't land, and HQ says it'll send in some ground forces, I get bumped back to the menu...

I'm trying to figure out what the problem is, but so far, I haven't been able to do more than watch the intro...

I second that for Devilchasers missions. I worked with him on one the advanced scripts for the Sequel to Operation firelord (which will be out sometime in the enar future), and am now helping to BETA test baghlan foxes 1.5, which puts the first baghlan foxes to shame!

BTW- regarding Lojack. There is a coop version of lojack for resistance too. The coop version is much more statisfying than the single player version, especially if you can get a bunch of serious OFP'ers together to play it.
