Skunk Monkey 0 Posted November 15, 2002 Well our server (details below) generally has 6 people minimum on at low-use times, and is full to max every night and at weekends. This also goes for SAS CTF server, Stoners house of Pancakes, Gampeplanet ...and many more. Unless your an odd timezone, say Japan, you should always be able to find 10+ people on a server to play with.
iNeo 0 Posted November 15, 2002 Gamespy is right (on how many ppl are playing online on public servers). But alot of ppl also play single player, and/or coops on private servers.
PitViper 0 Posted November 15, 2002 From what I've seen, most of the multiplayer action are clans playing privately against others or mostly playing coop. That is where this game shines. it's not really made to be a generic game you jump into with complete strangers.
BaronVonRed 0 Posted November 15, 2002 This game is normally played by people in smaller groups. Take me, for example, I normally play at a prearranged time with four or five friends on one of our own boxes. Lots of others just play single player stuff, and there are a TON of SP missions out there. The server hunt mode you are using isn't very popular with this game mostly because it doesn't support joining games in progress (that I am aware of, though I could be wrong). Since many of the missions are very long, it makes it kinda hard to server hunt unless you just happen to find a server just starting a game. Lastly, since this is more of a simulation than a arcade shooter, playing with strangers isn't particularly appealing.

The ASE www.udpsoft.com seems to be picking up ofp servers at the moment so u can give that a go if i dont like LAMEspy. Heres a funny review some guy done on bf1942 also check out the CS rreport bit http://www.summerblue.net/games/bf1942_review.html http://www.summerblue.net/
Harnu 0 Posted November 15, 2002 kulikov, drop gamespy! Get ASE. as posted above. OFP, has a lot of older (not old I just mean 18+) people playing it. Which means a lot of them have jobs. All the rest of us are students. Weekdays aren't that freidnly to play cause it's been a long day at school or work or whatnot. So generaly playing time is like 9pm-10/11pm (Central time)on weekdays. Fridays and weekends servers are normally a lot fuller. Like Radishville, server hours there are form 5PM-2AM Central. Because no one really plays before or after that in the U.S. Stoner's server is always up and always filled to the max. And if you have resistance, you can use the In-Game browser that works pretty nicely.
sseagle 0 Posted November 15, 2002 Actually, I'm pretty sure Radishville stays open till 3am now (CST) [edit]And you aren't seeing anyone on Gamespy because no one uses it, look in ASE and you'll find a lot more.[/edit] DOWN WITH GAMESPY
BRITISH BULLDOG 0 Posted November 15, 2002 As allready mentioned flashpoint is more of a team game, So joining one of the many squads out there would get you some serious gaming. Go to www.euro-flashpoint-league.com/ where you will find many clans looking to recruit, as is our squad which you can find at www.dvsquad.com . If your lookin for a game and not just clan matches you are welcome to join our public server which you will find using the ingame internet link or direct using i.p address 212.119.1.60 .You will find our server mostly full every evening after 19.00 GMT. Chris Death 0 Posted November 15, 2002 kulikov - as you are very new to this game, what version of the game have you been using, when trying to find ppl to play with? And do you already have resistance installed? If you're still using an older version of the game, this will be aswell a reason, why you can't see many ppl playing. And as Bully told you above, you're welcome to the DV squad server. ~S~ CD
