DrFatalChunk 12 Posted August 18, 2015 Just tried the mod out and I have to say, it added a very welcome feeling of authenticity to the vanilla suite of vehicles that they were sorely lacking before, brilliant job! Would you consider making a replacer version of this mod? I'd absolutely love to see these details in pre-existing missions, as well as the vanilla campaign when I eventually decide to replay it! :)

McLupo 118 Posted August 19, 2015 @All: Thank you guys for the kind comments. I am very pleased to get such encouragement. @DrFatalChunk and Nerdwing: Good suggestion, because the replay of the original scenarios/campaign would much more interesting and we will get an new athmosphere. Moreover, it is another option for everyone, who is interested in this kind of replacement. But I guess,...at first i have to prepare myself, to improve my skill, because I have no clue how it works. All I can do for the moment is to familiarize myself with this stuff - a new challenge/project for me. I think it would be fun to do that. We will wait and see what happens. :) Thank you once again to all, for using my addon! Greetings McLupo
Gryphon 3 Posted August 19, 2015 Dear McLupo, Outstanding work :) Thank You for this quality mod and the amount of time and effort you've put into it. I understand that this mod has only been vanilla proofed for now - the only issue I encountered while running it with other mods was the result of a conflict with the latest version of the JSRS 3 Dragonfyre sound mod. This issue only occurs when when MLI and JSRS 3 are run together. For some reason, all armed versions of the Ifrit, Hunter and Strider are unable to rotate/traverse their turrets or open fire with their weapons - whether the said units are AI or Player controlled. It is almost as if the turret is locked as it does not respond to any mouse input when within the gunner's view screen. All other vehicles contained in this mod, e.g. air, armored, support work as intended. Any idea what could be causing this or if there is a way to fix it? Love both of these mods and it would be a shame to choose one in favor of another. EDIT: Found a workaround solution for this issue by removing the individual pbo files for Hunter, Strider and Ifrit from JSRS 3 mod folder, effectively causing these vehicles to revert back to their vanilla sound sets. Re-tested in editor and all turrets and weapons are now operating as they should. Oh well lol...compromise I guess  Kind Regards, Gryphon
McLupo 118 Posted August 19, 2015 Hello Gryphon, at first thanks for your report. I figured it out, what caused the issue. LordJarhead, the author of "Dragon Fire", doesn't love me...hahaha..., only joking; Seriously - it is the included door animation script, which is responsible for the problem. Solution: I will add an seperate door animation.pbo into the addon. So if anyone run in problems, delete only the MCLU_DoorAnimation.pbo and you are good to go. If you need it, you are able to put it back into the addon-folder. So everyone will have the opportunity to use it, or not. I think it is the best way to prevent unwanted conflicts with the great JSRS-Soundmod. I will fix it asap and no later than tomorrow the download will available from my dropbox, so check it from time to time. Thank you for all your friendly praise and valuable feedback, i appreciate that very much. Greetings McLupo Edit: Version 1.26 of the MCLU_Marks, Labels and Insignia (MLI) is available. Belbo 462 Posted August 20, 2015 The look and feel of the vehicles is pretty awesome - especially with the support vehicles and the new medevac class for the Ghosthawk. There is however one major drawback: You used the faction names for CSAT and AAF - but for the NATO faction you used the generic side term "BLUFOR". BLUFOR is a generic term for those who are on the "good side" - it's not a plausible term that you'd find written on any vehicle. With that it's a major inconsistency on one hand, but a heavy immersion breaker on the other. That really saddens me, because the retextures are so well done. Btw. if you'd like to find out how to make a complete replacement pack (which I'd highly appreciate as well), you should take a look at this AAF replacement pack. Maybe therein you can find a way to achieve that. Good luck and keep on doing such a great job! :)
McLupo 118 Posted August 20, 2015 Hello, @Foxhound: Thanks for that quick and great support. @kecharles28: How cool is that...??? Thank you very much for supporting my addon with that great tool. Every user will appreciate that, too. @Belbo: Thank you very much for your friendly comment and also for the constructive critism and yes - you are absolutely right. These little things, one never thought about. I will change BLUFOR to NATO as fast as possible. That's why a community is so important, it helps alot to improve the mod. Thank you very much mate! gormel 10 Posted August 21, 2015 I definitely agree with Belbo on the Blufor/NATO topic. That was the one and only thing that bothered me that I immediately noticed. I would also be very interested in this mod if it was a replacer. Great work!
McLupo 118 Posted August 21, 2015 Hi gormel, thanks for your feedback. The new look of the NATO- units will come soon, as I mentioned already. You will get an update next week, i guess?! :) Heads up to all: The replacement pack is a new project and will take a lot more time to finish it. But you will always get the latest information about the progress of the replacement pack right here, from time to time, thats for sure. kparis 13 Posted August 22, 2015 Absolutely stunning mod! Do you think you would be able to add zeus support?
McLupo 118 Posted August 22, 2015 Absolutely stunning mod! Hi kparis, in all modesty your praise makes me proud. Thank you very much. Do you think you would be able to add zeus support? That's a legitimate question and definitely - yes! This will be included with the new letterings (BLUFOR to NATO) and will be available with the release of the pending update. To do list: 1.The MCLU_MLI_CAMO as a standalone with Zeus support 2.The MCLU_MLI_REPA (REplacement PAck) as a function of MCLU_MLI_CAMO In order not to get bogged down I will start at first with a Zeus compatible MCLU_MLI_CAMO and the new letterings for all vehicles. In second I will start with the replacementpack. (MCLU_MLI_REPA) ...but, it will take some time... ;) Greetings McLupo

Hi mad_cheese! :) Whether you believe it or not, that was a major goal of mine, to create a look, that is not as clean as it was before. I´m happy that you have noticed and mentioned it. (Samples added) A - 164 Wipeout A - 164 Wipeout (Woodland) In order to ensure equality of arms to all parties, CSAT will get the TO-199 and the AAF the A-143.
