I've been slow to try this mod out, but I'm thoroughly impressed with it now that I have. I love the armor options (with and without battle belt). Admittedly, I'm a little daunted by the sheer number of options based solely upon different belt and glove color combinations for the uniforms, but at the same time I like that you took it that far.

Have you considered changing the color of the knee and elbow pads to correspond with your color options (BK/CB/OD/SG/TN) for the different Crye uniforms? I think it would be an excellent touch. I would love to see the AOR2 with CB or TN pads instead of green only, for example.

Thank you kindly for these words. We did consider doing this but

given the complexity already shown we felt it were more prudent

to possibly look into the Crye Uniforms where the exposed areas

on the knees were camouflaged also giving a 'pulled up/down' kit

feel. Our overall objective is to provide equipment and we know

it is very important for users such as yourself to access this and

use it with units, we may consider building 'units' using this as a

requirement. That is how we see ourselves at the current time..

That said, we're the underdog compared to mods like RHS, but a

few messages our way have asked us to perhaps consider doing

a much larger, broader scope, where we add both this level of a

quality and multitude to reskin other mods if permitted to a high

or highest standard possible. For instance, feasibly speaking how

many messages I get personally regarding the reskinning of IOTV

and other vests from RHS on MODDB? At least once a day now.

So we may consider more broader options than just the crye kit

but we would really like to collaborate with other developers to

really embellish and bring out that professional aspect in a many

number of mods available for ArmA. The other type of requested

content we get regards vehicles which unfortunately we do not.

If you have any suggestions or would like to contribute, do let

us know, we're eager for feedback and communications with a

community that appreciates us as much as we appreciate them.

I don't understand what you mean when you say "exposed area on the knees" or "pulled up/down kit feel."

I was actually admiring the fact that this is a gear pack and not a unit pack. If you do decide to go the unit route, please don't make this equipment dependent upon other mods, too. I think enough modders have made accessing their gear a bit of a pain for all the other addons needed to make them run without throwing errors.

I understand peoples' desire for reskins of new equipment and other mods, but I think what you are providing is valuable in its own right. Whatever you all choose to do, make sure it fits into your own vision, too.

Would it be possible to add the solid color head gear to the USA package (So we don't have entire duplicates to get solid color headgear) and also maybe make the us package be able to work as an alternate core package so again we don't have duplicates?

Hello Everyone,

What I meant was on the Crye Uniform there is an area of solid

color surrounding the kneepad area, we wanted to make that a

camo variant as well. In addition, I agree that unit packs could

be supported but perhaps now with such a wide array of HQ kit

packs, people will develop their own units using this requirement

as an addon. We could attempt to also, but believe that all the

choices really remain with you, and would prefer that as always.

@HeliCrazy14,

We have considered doing this also, but at present we have no

plans to do so in the near future. Unfortunately the requirement

that is set in CORE is based on classnames, having USA have at

any point the same classnames will cause crashes via collisions.

Our apologies, it was an attempt to at least provide USA vs. an

anonymous unit look. Many people felt it wasn't catering toward

EU usage, and since our future plans with enough support could

be worthwhile, we aim to provide these in the near future, okay?

I have posted this before but not in this thread. I would like to see if the KetsuCorp team could make a Tier one (Tier one meaning units like CAG,DEVGRU,SAS,JTF2,ect..) Gear/unit mod. Since all of your work is of high quality I think you guys could really pull this off properly. I have some ideas to maybe think about adding in to the mod. Like maybe mismatching colour uniforms (like aor1 top and aor 2 bottom, multicam top and aor1 bottom, aor2 and multicam, or od,cb,tn,sage,black tops and multicam,aor1,aor2,m81 woodland,DCU bottoms. or vice versa) camo painted helmets, civilian ballcaps (like sports teams, beer company'sand college football teams) shemaghs in a bunch of differant real world colours. You could try and add camo painted NVGs (btw love the nvgs they are by far the best i have downloaded) and for the last and what I would think the hardest part is some different modeled plate carriers/chest rigs. I by no means what to tell you what to do or how to go about making mods but I think that ARMA3 needs a really good solid high quality Tier one gear/unit pack. I think you guys could really pull this off and still keep the high quality you are known for.

Please provide some screenshots. We have some development

staff in the early stages of developing a CIRAS and other vest

variants. If developed properly we may consider this in the set

final patch coming in the remainder of the year, post some kits

or photo's of that. We would appreciate the input on type too.

For the rest of the community, we would like official answers if

we should pursue developing units as a separate code package

or whether we should use the rest of the thread to dump texts

of the virtual arsenal into this as code formatted examples with

possible variants of the uniforms. As this would probably work..

Let us know!

Thank you for your quick reply, I understand that with the USA vs anonymous and conflicting classnames. But could you still add the headgear to the us pack since I downloaded it and the abu, acu, ocp, nwu packs(and core) and I have headgear for the camo schemes and the GEAR labeled black but none for the us solid colors so I'm guessing they are included in the TN, OD, SG packs but I don't want to have all of those uniforms when I'm going to use the us ones anyway. So I don't know if I'm missing something here but I don't know.

They're made available there, yes. You will find the ACH

and MICH2001, as well as the Pro-Tec helmet available

via CORE, SG, CB, OD & TN. These helmets at present I

believe are not available in USA. The staff will consider a

future patch to implement those, but you would not be

saving any less data as they would then be shown in the

USA Pack instead. We can confirm we are intent on now

working on a GEARS_COMPLETE for the end of this year.

Again thanks for the quick reply, what I meant is having uniforms, vests, and backpacks with both the GEAR label and the US label (Two of basically the same thing, when I am only going to use the US ones, the GEAR ones are wasted space, just to have the solid color helmets.)

Are you requesting we add helmets specifically to USA that

cover the prior variants? If so, how do you wish it were set?

What I mean is than the us pack currently includes the uniforms, vests, and backpacks from the solid color packs except with us markings on them but it doesn't have the solid color headwear to match and I don't want to download an entire solid color pack just to use the headgear

You bring up an excellent point, I will conduct meetings

with the staff to ensure your idea is realized. While we

are taking a brief hiatus from the project we are by no

means done with it. We intend to release BDU, DCU and

UCU uniforms, and perhaps consider the building of new

uniform types such as 50/50 wear, whereby a user is at

least able to pick a set of non-matching top vs. bottom.

An excellently documented post, we like the work being

put into researching this. Consider us interested, we've

got some possible vest options coming for the final patch

for the USA oriented equipment. The half/half is needed.

I think it best played to increase the armor values from vanilla A3 a bit,,, for sure;until B.I. nerfs their aimbot A.I. Doesn't really level the playing field due to numerous bullett impacts slapping your body with the smallest pieces of a player pokingout from cover (i've never in my life seen an AK that's capable of such accuracy from > 350m!!

**There are also many instances ;in your addon packs, where the only difference in uniform is the glove color. That seems like a waste of armory space and would serve a great deal better to utilize those slots for mis-match selections. Would offer an attractable realistic feature and serve to utilize the addon to get the most out of it's potential. They really are some fantastic re-textures, thank you for releasing them, just trying to be helpful

The difference is either with Gloves or Belt coloration, this

while minor in difference, provides that we trust you with

the choice, rather than taking that choice away by giving

you only one color that we collaboratively believe is better.

As a final note to anyone wondering about the bulk, there

is a common concern for how limited or even how poorly a

number of uniform modifications have been built. When the

request was made to direct a project such as this, we had

the intention to focus on quality, quantity, control as well.

This meant that the quality had to be of a certain caliber;

it meant that the quantity had to be able to cover all the

many needs that people with picky tastes wanted and we

had to provide you, the user, with control over all of this.

What it means is that having too many of a good thing is

never a bad thing. It means that when you are looking up

a certain loadout and you're just unsure whether a mod is

'close' we tried to get the coverage down to the measure.

Meaning that if you wanted that particular uniform with a

black belt but tan gloves, but lacked the technical expert

in your team to build it, or the expertise yourself. You are

obliged to use our work and know that we can go the mile

further. We have a meticulous standard for such designs.

In combining uniforms, we would be taking away the liberty

of the individual to choose the parts he wants, and we are

not an organization based on suggesting or juxtaposing our

intents into your ideals. With KetsuCorp we will always have

at our core beliefs, your interests in mind. This won't change.

If you want custom commission works or require a specific

in-house development made, contact us via PM and we will

handle this request diligently. We built 10,000+ Classnames

in roughly 8 or so months, nothing you request regarding kit

or uniforms shall be too hard or difficult for us to provide you.

Was wondering if you could include the survivor uniform (the one kerry wears in the SP Campaign) with your great textures and and a brush up of the shirt; not making the shirt look too clean or too dirty but just with a nice worn look, vice the pants.

Particularly for the US and OCP packs. Think it would be a great addition!!
