m4rt14l 13 Posted January 4, 2015 (edited) ALiVE =[RHS NATOFOR]= Soviet - Afghan War By M4RT14L ALiVE =[RHS - NATOFOR]= Soviet Afghan War is a 32 player coop mission in which you must complete a variety of random tasks, tasks are selected by three kind of operations and are created dynamically, in a live and persistent scenario, the mission does not have a specific goal but is developed to be a long lasting coop, This time, the background is set in final stage of Soviet-Afghan War. My Thanks to Red Hammer Studios for his incredible work with RHS Escalation Mission Features *Random Tasks You can access the "Operations Board" from Command Post (marker on map). AIR OPERATIONS designed to be completed by the air crew, -Destroy Artillery. -Destroy Strategic Warehouse. -Attack Convoy. -Close Air Support. COMBAT OPERATIONS to complete these will have to involve all players, -Area Clear. -Find & Kill Taliban Officer. -Find and Destroy the Campsite. -Find and Destroy Comms. -Destroy Mobile AA. -Capture Taliban Leader. SUPPORT OPERATIONS -Clear Minefield. -Repair MSR road. -Deliver Supplies. -Repair vehicle. -MEDEVAC. -Pilot CSAR. *ZEUS Commander slot is linked as Game master, as such can create structures or spawn allied groups among many other functions, the intention is to represent the logistic support, the editing area is limited to MHQ. Don't tell me I have to download AiA just to play this :)Thanks Previous versions of AiA TP were fully compatible with A3MP but I'm not sure after last AiA TP updates, try if it works correctly and if not so, I recommend you install AiA TP, works very well, adding more maps and enhancements and most importantly is in continual review. m4rT14l thanks for making this! It would fit better imo, because you already use RHS and this cfg will change the aggressors weapons too rhs weapons and sounds. B) How well does this mission perform in terms of performance? I'm trying to get a mission similarly done for our community (we want to use RHS, ALIVE and CSE too) and the engine is strugling a lot (specially in terms of CPS). I wanted to get some information of performance and what should I expect, from other admins, and since yours resembles a lot what I'm trying to get.... m4rt14l 13 Posted January 11, 2015 Hi Zriel, 1- Tasks are managed by script, not by ALiVE engine, creation of these tasks has very little effect over performance. 2- Mission runs around 30-45 FPS with 20+ players, this mission has several EOS zones and performance can drop to 25 FPS while area is populated (10 seconds), then improves performance up to 30-45 FPS. As advice I say, try different missions that are published here or in Armaholic there are excellent Mission Editors and his works are properly tested and continuously improving, since the first OFP. Thanks for the info. I have similar stats, but very little CPS, arround 8-10. I do not know if in your community you use the ASM plugin to monitor server resources, which gives those stats.
