Since AB is part of CSE, will it also be part of ACE3?

Yes, but probably not all features.

Edit: Only a few minor features that do not affect the trajectory will be omitted.

Version 3.2 Changelog:

-Fixed an incorrect config entry (arifle_Katiba_f barrel length)

-Fixed incompatibility with new BI weapon config initSpeed

-Fixed incompatibility with AGMs changeProjectileDirection function

-Added missing config data to fully support the RH M4 v1.25 weapon pack

-Added missing config data to fully support RHS v0.3.6 weapons

My fellow server admin found a problem with the current AB and the current release candidate of the marksman dlc.

When firing some rounds get deflected in a totally weird way. Some are deflected directly after the shoot and others get deflected for no reason midair.

To get a better idea here are some screens:

I haven't confirmed the error yet and I'm not sure whether really AB is at fault here. We haven't found an error in the rpt concerning AB but I found others which might cause lags, resulting in a faulty projectile calculation.

Again some feedback. I couldn't reproduce the last reported error so I assume it is related to the rpt entries causing lags.

Would we then be able to integrate the full Advanced Ballistics into ACE3 or are those omitted features not included due to compatibility issues?

* The mirage effect and parallax adjustment features are left out for now.

* The scope adjustment will be slightly different.

Other than that it's going to be ~the same.

So if a weapon addon already includes AB_ parameters in it's config, is it also going to work with ACE3 ballistics?

All ACE config entries start with "ACE_". I will adapt it in AB with the next update.

OK thanks, I removed that one and the trixie, works now.

I thought marksmen dlc itself would get wind deflection, but tis is not the case?!

No. The only change to vanilla ballistics after Marksmen DLC was the added ability to change muzzle velocity in cfgWeapon using initSpeed.

Hello Ruthberg,

bug report : ArmA3 vanilla stable 1.42.130244, @CBA_A3 v1.20.150408 RC6, @AdvancedBallistics v3.4

I can't use the M320 and the Lynx because the .408mag and the 12.7mag are not recognized by your mod, i don't know why.

Thanks a lot to keep your mod alive Ruthberg.:)

And thanks you Bohemia to remove 0.75 and replace it by 0.25 for the opticsZoomMin and Max formula.
