Good to hear that, but I have to tell you I have test in a recon mission with 4 mates in my squard(all human players)yesterday, and I was the guy with RQ-11,and I dont have any addAction problem you talked above.I was using VAS 2.2 to add the backpack to me and it all worked fine with no bugs, maybe using VAS will be the best solution I think. And I wanna tell you during the mission I get in a KA-60 for transport and the RQ-11 worked with the vehicles fine,I can get in it with the RQ-11 attaching to my waist and when I got out the RQ-11 still on my waist, and no bugs after I did that. That's really nice I think

But after that test mission I also find some shortcomings,I think maybe a Direction control functions in the Camera Feed mode will be fine, now when I wanna change a position while I was in Camera Feed mode I have to first exit the Camera Feed mode and then use the Next Target to change the position of RQ-11.That's not convenient. So if we can make the RQ-11 move in Camera Feed mode will be very nice.

And the video in the Camera Feed mode is not very clear and makes us hard to see the enemies and small objects,so I think maybe add some lock icons to mark the enemies in the Camera Feed mode would be fine, just like the RQ-11 can lock enemies in its Camera Feed mode in the movie Act of Valor, that should be coolï¼:yay:

Thanks for the feedback. When you are in the camera feed, you CAN control the Raven by using the directional buttons to move the camera target. Instructions are on the read me page but the default controls are numpad 8, 2, 4 and 6.

I would love to get the icons to appear on the camera view over detected units and vehicles. But I can't figure it out.

Finally got a chance to play around with it yesterday. It is bloody brilliant! Everything I wanted the BIS UAV's to do pretty much.

The only thing I noticed is that the camera effect when in the camera feed will transfer if you switch players.

E.g. I lased a target, pressed "Switch Team" (U) to hop to a pilot circling the AO. The pilot now has the fuzzy camera effect.

Nice release feint.

i got 1 or 2 thinks i would like to see in a Next update

1. Make the PIP Screen Bigger (50%) more would be nice!

2. the GCS should also be useable as a "Weapon" u can pick it up but not use it if u put it in your hand (like a Gun) u can use it!

Thanks!

There is an old doctor's joke:

A patient goes up to the doctor and says, "Hey doc, it hurts when I raise my arm up above my head."

The doctor replies, "Then don't do that."

My advise would be to exit out of the camera before team switching.

You can change the size of the GPS in your game options. Maybe there is a way to change the PIP size as well in those same game options. I'm at work so I can't check from here.

Regarding your second request, this would be similar to DayZ and I see your point, but that would require redoing the 3d model and adding in proxies which I can't do and wouldn't really be worth the effect it might have on saving variables. I'd have to redo the way variables are saved and that's not worth it at the moment.

We're still having issues with this new RQ-11 version that prevent anyone but the operator who launched the raven from seeing the green tactical laser.

Yeah, I know. Looks like the drawline3d is only local. I'll see if I can find a workaround but it doesn't look good.

Oh,I havent noticed that I can control it by using numpad, thanks fot the tips,I will try it next time.

As fot the icons, maybe that's something BI should do……but can we just make it can lock the enemies units?Just like what we did in the camera of Titan?

Read the directions. I spent a long time writing them. :)

Yes, you can lock onto units, vehicles or any other object placed in the editor.

Oh,sorry for my English,it is not my mother tongue.

I'm just thinking a function can make us lock the target in the Camera Feed will be fine.

Feint have you heard anyone talk about a red "debug" ball being displayed on the ground where the Ravens Target is?

Our group saw that using the latest release last night in a Coop mission.

I can confirm the red balls appear. Logged out of our COOP dedicated with a raven left circling. (I logged in to test it for the first time).

Came back and found the raven slightly embedded in the floor next to the control unit and a red ball about a metre away.

Thanks for confirming. FYI, when the person who has launched the Raven dies, the Raven automatically lands next to the GCS. Logging off is the same as dying as far as the game is concerned.

About picking the GCS up: Is it a workaround if u do a option in the Scrolmenu to "use GCS in Hand" and then force the player to lower the Weapon and then Enabling the Options like if u are looking on it on the ground?

I'm not interested in doing this for this addon. Thanks for the suggestion though.

well a workover for the BI UAV would be the best, because the Missles are Launched Via the "pilot" and not from the turret and can´t log on the Laser if it is not directly in front off it and the List goes on an on!

Yeah, it is pretty difficult to control. Not sure where to start with controlling it. BIS has taken a completely different approach with their autonomous aircraft. I'd have to see what's possible with rigging everything.

My Arma2 Raven has that feature and it was so controversial, I'm not going there again. Thanks for the suggestion.
