Looking for a BETTER mod launcher

This Launcher(pictured) won't run any of the addons/mods.

Hi,

I tried setting up this launcher with CWA and it will not even start with no addons, so I guess it's coded for OFP CWC/RES only.

I also tried OFP Mod Selector and it worked.

For OFP?...No.

I tried OFP Mod Selector and it worked.

The OFP Mod Selector won't let me change the selected Files of Types: to All Files,

preventing me from selecting the Application-ColdWarAssault.

In the file name box remove flashpointresistance with *.*

The you can pick coldwarassult.exe

I got it to work, it's not as user friendly/clean as the other launcher but it works.

Are there any other mod launchers for Arma 1.99? I'm trying to run it with wine/linux but kegetys isn't compatible to 1.99 and the mod selector doesen't run with wine.

if enuf people want ofpwatch updated , i need a nice list of peeps that want this done , i can give it to certa .... he dosnt want to update it to work like it used too unless there enuf people wanting it.. and if you didnt know ... ofpwatch used to d load the addons you needed to play difrent server and put them were they belong, all animated.

You can use Fwatch + OFP Aspect Ratio for launching mods. CWA compatible.

Just wanted to say that OFP Launcher works perfectly with CWA, and previously, OFP. I've been running it with CWA Steam version without problems for years now and, previously, OFP boxed. Just make sure you configure it properly. Change the OFP/CWA path to reflect your own and create mod entries as instructed in the readme.

All the alternatives proposed are nice and also work as intended, though. So if you struggle with OFP Launcher try any of those.

I always loved Kegety's launcher and want to keep using it... It works initially with CWA but the second time I run it, it seems to want to open "ColdWarAssaultPreferences.exe"

I click the launcher and nothing happens, except a "ColdWarAssaultPreferences.exe" appears in task manager...

It won't work correctly again until I re-select the executable path.

How to fix this?

As I said it turns out to be an older version that would work even worse so what's the point of giving you a link ;)
