yeah i didn't realy pay attention, 1st of 2014 best wishes by the way ;)

blame it on the liquor..

i fixed the suits tshirts and vests + names so they appear similar as the original names.

now to add the new vests to the units to make them look a little more uniform ill release the fixed version.

As always, liking the addon a lot. Just noticed in 1.4 that there's a small typo (hope I'm not considered a grammar nazi now:p). putting down an armor group, it says amvibious assault, which should be amphibious. And I noticed that all the grenadiers in the rifleman squads lack any grenades Oo (for their grenade launchers, thrown grenades look fine). I'm curious if you'd be willing to tell us if there's anything else on the planning? weapons, heavier armor-wise etc. Obviously if you don't no problem, guessing you don't wanna give any false hopes etc xD.

Maybe something simple to make this even nicer.

Barets from a bunch of our forces? Like the black with red symbol for the marines, green for KCT, red for air mobiles, greenbrownish for army, darkgrey for Airforce......etc.

thx shifty for the heads up will provide them with grenade shells.

on the extra vehicles.., I think that's more something for military forces.

when I look in wiki pages the marines do not have that many "land" vehicles.

maybe ill throw something like artillery vehicles in this addon but that would be it.

I believe there are other gifted addon creators working on dutch units.

and I think it would fit in such an addon much better than in the "marines" package.

Now that you mention it, yes you are right xD The marines here only have some landing craft and amphibious transports. Unfortunatly we don't have a whole lot to offer anymore in the armor department even in the army :( sold pretty much all those leopards to canada and indonesia :'( Thanks for the reply, and once again thanks a bunch for this mod.

A bunch of our tanks have been sold to germany. But exactly these tanks are still used by our army, being rented. ;)

The scan ealge uav would be cool to model. And we are buying the mq9 reapers. SF and SOF will be a big player in using this for their operations. So this would make sense to model.

And...our Flagship...the Rotterdam.

I have a basic model from OFP by the 'lowlands warrior' team. (My brother)

Want it? That will give you a good head start on making it!

Although I like the idea, I think we're getting ahead of things then :p Navy-wise we do have some sweet stuff, fregats like the "Zeven Provinciënklasse" and the "Hollandklasse", along with minesweepers, logistical ships and an old torpedoship even xD. I reckon all that stuff isn't on the planning, and it's not per se part of the marines, but the navy. Obviously wouldn't mind if it did make it ingame somehow.

well.. modelling skills I have pretty much 0 skills in modelling except terrain creation.

but the hms Rotterdam is bloody awesome to have in A3.

if I would take that offer im going to need help on some basics..

Ooh dear, I hope a modder is following this thread and feels compelled to help in this xD A ship capable of carrying 600 marines, 170 apc's/33 mbt's and 6 lynxes or nh90's. I can see the missions already :p I said it in another thread and I'll say it again, times like these I wish I could mod for arma xD All I can do at this moment is show my admiration, and maybe ask some questions, take some pictures in septembre when it's on display again xD

Edit: Found out that all (-UIM and recon) the units carry 30rnd 9mm mags (scorpion mags), so they have no pistolrounds ;)

This mod is impressive! I love the variety of camos in it, specially the BDU. Do you plan to equip these guys with realistic Dutch Military weaponry in the near future? I believe the C8 is the standard issue rifle, which the CAF mod has. Would be great if you guys can make a deal with them to equip these units. Cheers!

That would be awesome :p little nitpick here, but we also use the hk416d10rs and d14.5rs (and I believe I have read about them using the hk417 aswell). There's other weapons aswell, but imo those are not seen much or being phased out altogether. mp5, uzi, p90, accuracy international awm, m107.

Btw elcan's rule. I'm not even the creator of this mod, but I'm really excited to see how this mod progresses ^^
