Albert, in the good old USA, you cant serve alcohol unless you are over 21 or have a special license that is a pain in the ass to get. Even then there are laws against minors in bars when the best females are out and about

my suggestion is that you do not take a class that focusses on specific area. web design is here to stay, but is getting easier, thus will not be a unique talent.

my suggestion is that you go to college. although it may not seem like it, a college degree is far better than just a high school diploma. there will be a plenty of high school diploma holders, and as time goes on, you need more advanced skill/talent.

Most elective classes here consist of arc/oxy welding, driving tractors around, and making shit out of wood. Unfortunately I think welding sucks, its hella boring and oxy scares me sometimes, I dont care to drive tractors because Im not a damn farmer, and I suck at making things in woodshop.

yeah, the only thing about England that i miss are my friends, graduation, and the booze... as im 17 i can't go in a pub till im 18 but i can still drink it outside of the pubs lol... Or i can go in the pubs if someone is over 18 with me.

But now i live in central California so i can't till im 21

But our school does host around 4 different classes for computer studies, unlike my high school in england which hosted 1!

Haha, here in Belgium nobody cares how old you are, ppl are not allowed to sell you beer when you're under 16 but believe me, it's easy to get beer when you're under 16... Just ask and you get, and when the cops arrest you, it's not even your fault, the person that gave you the beer is responsible....

But most people don'y ask questions, i look older than i am so i can get it without having any problems.

There are some bars where you're not allowed to enter under 16 or 18 but that's not an official rule...

You little... You're lucky to have metals and welding as an elective. At my high school they took it out becuase they didn't think anyone needed it. Yet BOTH my brothers' first jobs included them needing to know how to weld. I'm going to try and work where they did as a starting job, and I would love to know welding before I go. We have woodshop, but that class is boring. Woodworking isn't, what they are doing in there is tho.
