Hi i really like your mod, but i have a hard time figuring out if it works in a server controlled mp game mode? And if it does, how and what works?

If its not dedi it all should work fine. Me and my son use it all the time in our missions over lan and the internet option. As for Dedi. I'm not sure. I'd say no to be safe. Everything should work the same. ;)

Ok, thank you. I was hoping it would work on a dedi server, since i really like the mod. I have used ASR_AI before, but i seems like the AI are becoming super marksmen?!

Are there any plans for making the mod compatible with a dedi server?

Yup been trying for a long time to make it so, but I lack dedi knowledge to get it there. I'm hoping someone offers help.

I just wanted to remark that it would be cool to have the option of integrate spawned units into AISS. This would be amazing and increase the use by mission makers. But amazing work so far...

Combat,

AISS should recognize any spawn unit at beginning and during. Could you tell me whats going on when units spawned and how you are spawning them?

I did find a bug when lookng at how AISS recognizes spawned units, but it still should be recognizing spawned units.

Quick update:

I've got the AISS modules working in Zeus and can confirm with up in coming update that Arty call for AI does work in Zeus. Hopefully in next day or 2 I'll release it. More testing to be done. So little time. lol

Mikey had been killing it and internally we are discussing features for release sometime in the next two weeks of a new version of a ytbdetermined version number lol...

confirmed added but not a complete list

-Menu via key bind and selections via number keys

edit- I changed the release to next two weeks... a few features and issues need to be addressed as well as testing... it may be sooner...

Yup got to excited. I want to wait till Samo Is corrected before we release AISS as well. :(

one question?

how to increase AI chance of calling for artillery support

In config will .1 or .9 increase chance

I suspect .1 based on explanation but that means infantry less likely to call support than tanks and air

help please ?

The lower you have it set to the less likely. If you want them off set it to 0 or 100% set it to 1 and 50% would be .5

So to answer your question .9 would increase it. ;)

and are the numbers reversed?

if its set to 1 then it will call support from other only if known enemies equal or greater the spotting groups size. If its .5 it will call support from other units if known enemies are 1/2 there size or larger.

AISS (Artificial Intelligence Support System)

My short description of this would be: Combining arms of arma3.

AISS2 is an AI enhancement...

Mike, I found the one causing the conflict. It's called DSS: Altis. The Author is Rawner135. Here is the Steam Workshop page for the mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=242227892

Anyway, I hope this helps. Please keep us updated on what you find out. I'm going to install my other mods now and I'll let you know if I have any other problems. I'm curious to find why DSS is causing this to happen.

hi stonemaster,

I looked through the code for dss and couldnt find a command calling for aiss\dapman\rsctitles.hpp. Could you give me the list of mods you're using, and maybe we can narrow it down for ya. :) If you have a dapman mod this may be the culprit. None of Dapmans work is in AISS. If we can find that command calling for aiss\dapman\rsctitles.hpp the problem will be licked, but its not in AISS or SAMO, or in DSS from what I've seen in his code.

Changelog:
Made AISS modules and AISS a bit more combatible working with Zeus. When in Zeus AISS reaction time is slowed to 14 seconds so you have time to issues out orders before AISS take control. ALSO AISS modules show and now work in Zeus. :)
Few other minor tweaks and changes.

PS

If you use steam for your mods. You will need to download SAMO if you want SAMO with AISS.

If you download AISS here or Armaholic you only need AISS. Samo is included. ;) Edited by Mikey74
