I dont like it at all, but what do you think the US or any other country with biological or chemical weapons uses for testing? Robots? Manequins?

They all use animals, and whereas I love dogs and it makes me mad, its no more sick and freakish than gasing monkeys, sheep or mice.

I think using dgos is worse, mice are a pest anyways. It may be as bad to us monkeys and sheep, but not mice, the more dead mice the better. Anyways the reason these sick people where doing this is even more disturbing.

How exactly though is it any different to the reasons that Western countries develop such weapons? They both develop these things to kill people. I doubt they used a dog out of pure hate or malice either. I doubt there were many Monkeys out in deepest darkest afghanistan.

Yeah, I gotta say, gassing dogs is kind of way down there on my list of reasons to wage an international war. Dont get me wrong, I like dogs and hate seeing them harmed, but really, this aint all that big a deal. Using animals to test lethal agents is a sad, but ubiquitous thing.

Well, testing weapons of mass destruction on animals is nothing new. The US tested nukes on pigs because they had similar skin to humans. I just hate to see animals have things like this done to them.

I wouldnt exactly lose sleep over it if the place where this happened got bombed a mile into the ground...

I would wager that for them dogs are the easiest animals to acquire. That's probably why they used them.

Testing weapons on any animals is not nice.

all this comes down to one thing. fuzzy factor

fuzzier an animal is, more support it gets. i doubt if anyone would criticize tests if they used spiders or roaches or wolves. and i also don't doubt that US used dogs to test in older days.

Tseting of purfumes, WMD, or anything else on animals should be banned. If we want to develop things for humans, we can test them on humans. All those prisoners will finnaly have some use. All convicted muderes/rapists/anything else can enjoy the delightful sensation of having things squirted in their eyes But we better be careful, the Denoir closing is approaching.....
