Taking in game screen shots

just found out that my "print screen" button doesn't work for ofp so how do i do it?

but it could be graphic card-dependent.

i heard that there are some screen capture programs that you can use for free. how about them? anyone know?

the "Print Scrn" works for you eh? maybe im not looking in the right place for the pics. ware are the pics saved at? i checked around the codemasters file and under my documents but there not there.

open up "paint" program under accesorries and choose "paste" from edit menu.

wait a sec, now theres another problem, it won't let me take new pics, it keeps pasting the first one i took.

for simple image hosting try either imgstudio.com(?) or sphosting.com

at sphosting.com, they allow hotlinking if the image file is JPEG.

it won't let you paste new one? that's odd.

If you only using PrintScreen press it once, Alt-Tab to windows and save you image there, then go back to the game and repeat step 1.

But I suggest you try this program.

o wait i got it to work though its a little fussy if i delete the old pic before i paste the new one, and try and copy it just seems to copy the old one.

I use GCS.

It s small and very good.

Just select a folder where to store the files, select a resolution and you re done setting it up.

You can take pics without ever needing to alt-tab again.

The program JAp is talking about is really cool. it is freeware and it doesnt add any logoes or anything to your pics.

You can even tell the program to compress the jpg's to a certain level if you want to. Anyway, since JAP left an URL out, ill be so kind to provide one

sorry for reviving a old thread, but i really need a answer to this question.

I'm tried pressing print screen, then pasting it, all i get is a black picture. I tried GSC, all i get is black pictures when capturing OFP. Why is it doing that? DO i have some settings on my video card i should turn off?

take all the ss you want and you dont have to alt tab. you can have it save to any folder you want.

If your not using windows XP I would use OFPSS, It takes multiple SS without Alt-Tab. If you use XP OFPSS wont work. I use an old ultima online SS program with XP. The Ultima Online SS utility also takes multiple SS and works with other OS as well. You can find it Here.

i found out the problem! It was with the anti-aliaising on my Geforce 4 TI4600. I had it set on QUintix (or whatever they call it). Once i turned off anti-aliasing, it worked perfectly.
