Good lord..what stupidity!!

I mean, come on... what would she do, poke someones eye out? Obviously this is someone being a little overzealous and not applying common sense to the situation. If she was packing an airsoft pistol on..I could understand it... sheesh.

I read that one of the only industry (apart from the arms industry) to profit from Sept.11 was the plastic cutlery business...

That's really insane, anyone practicing martial arts is much more of a threat than a 2 inch weapon (a real good 2 inch blade). Maybe we should ban anyone who is strong or trained from flying. smile.gif Don't to forget to ban those WW2 veterans, I heard they were exceptionally tough.

Actually, you guys heard that a kid was arrested flying with his father for trying to set fire to his shoe? Okay so they arrested him, but they also searched the entire plane and luggage and treated it as a possible terrorist act. The kid was trying to burn a string off his shoe (which is dumb), but once they inspected the shoe, wasn't it obvious he is not a terrorist? Common sense; he is young, american, travelling with his father, trying to light a non explosive shoe. confused.gif

you cant blame this on liberals. As I recall, the stricter airline security standards was a BIPARTISAN push, under a CONSERVATIVE administration. It is stupid, but it aint liberals fault this time

We should try to pass Operation Flashpoint Resistance box through Insecurity and see if they'll not allow us to board the plane with it because there's a picture of a guy pointing a gun on the cover of the box.

Maybe Women with long fingernails should be forced to cut them before they go on a plane. THEY COULD CUT AND SCRATCH THE PILOT! HUGE SECURITY RISK!
