I'm gonna say Denoir, because he TRYED to help me with my trouble modifying the game.  Either him or Vikingo, since he even sent me a .cpp file with everything already modified.  HOWEVER, I still havent found out the "value not an array" error, so if someone wants the honor of being my REAL best friend...  

But gather round, and I'll spin ye a tale....

When I first came to these forums, they were practically the same as they are now. There were serious people, guys who tended to joke around, politically focused people, anti-Americans , and spammers. Nowadays, the spammers are practically gone, and The Mighty Five are a distant memory. In fact, there is no SOLID proof that they actually existed, and many believe they are just a fairy tale that Redstorm made to scare Pete. The older forum archives are too ancient to be read by most translators who live nowadays, so many just consider Redstorm a liar! But avast mateys, he tells the truth!

Back in the day, an organization of spammers rose from the center of the Earth, and spammed the offtopic forums like there was no tomorrow. Every topic was their bitch!

But one day, Pete stood up to them, and made an evil doppelganger, which stopped SOME of the spamming. This is when The Mighty Five first began to lose its power.

Then one day Placebo (I believe) closed "How to make a bowl of cereal." thread and The Mighty Five was effectively under control.

I can hear you all saying "Shut up dork, nobody cares!", but you all know that deep in your hearts you have a forum fetish!

Many of you younger forum members probably dont remember the huge American vs. Russian military equipment arguments that nearly tore the board into two. A poster (or a poser?) by the name of "Sniper" was on the side of the Abrams tank. He even went so far as to brag about its prowess in his sig! But suddenly an equally if not more-so annoying poser named Prodigy Snypa started posting about the T-80 and its evil ways. He mentioned the T-80 in his sig. Eventually the two posters would argue in every topic they met in. One day they both died, and lets never mention their names again.

King Kong went on a rampage for awhile also. He was known for his angry posts, mean attitude, and foul odor. He would always refer to ANYONE who disagreed as a "15 year old acne face teenager", no matter how strong an argument they put up against his so-called "facts." King Kong was spayed, neutered, and banned. Thank God.

Pete was a very intelligent poster with a firm anti-spam policy. He wanted proper mortars in OFP, and if I'm not mistaken, since that mortar addon came out, he never posted again. Guess he's still busy. If I'm not mistaken, he was Finnish, but had served in the Swedish armed forces. Or maybe it was the other way around.

Ruskie was the forum's ultra-active member. He had over 5000 posts before he resigned (or maybe was banned) from the forums. His army of posts was perhaps growing too fast, and certain individuals thought of him as too much of a threat to the forum's wellbeing, and had him disposed of. He has never been seen again.

Redstorm (who is still here) posted lots of IL2 pictures, along with Ran, who is also still here. Ran is French. And he likes it that way!

Originally the forums were moderated by very few. I believe Suma was the only one who actively moderated things around here, but he wasnt powerful enough. The old forums were overrun and too old to support themselves anylonger, so new forums were started that we post on to this day. Many new moderators were brought in, and the spamming was quickly stopped by violent action. Ruskie was found against a wall, with an axe through the back of his head. Black Op was found sleeping. Thehamster was found gnawing Black Op, who refused to wake from his deep slumber. And some other guy, I think his name was slappy or something, became a dolphin and swam away. Redstorm still eats cereal. He has regular bowel movements due to his large bran intake.
