Right so a small update and bit of news after my antics last night.

The first version of the M4 pack should be on it's way soon enough. As said in the first post this is mainly for testing and feedback, and won't replace any SCAR's just yet.

Also announcing the M4A1 pack which will replace the SCAR-H's. These will utilize Alwarren's holo and peg-15 models. This will come after the M4 pack is roughly completed.

So here's a small example of what's done so far, suppose you can consider this Version 1. There shouldn't be any major bugs but I'm sure some will pop up :p these don't replace anything and you can find them in the ammo box section in US Army 2012/2015 Box.

This mod is made of gold for me, SCARs just didn't feel right, now we can roam with M4's all we want, even nights. Great job.

Sound reference for Burst fire mode on M4s causes conflict with soundmods. Removing these two lines seem to cause no troubles so far.

Yea but then in vanilla the single sounds correct, but the burst mode has the M16 sound.

A new update should be out tomorrow, including replacement config. The sound lines are removed..I'll just recommend you play with a sound mod ;)

Hmm, maybe it could be done via separate .pbo containing only sound definition for burst? Main file could use vanilla sound, and for playing with soundmods, simple sound relacement configs for most popular soundmods?

Fixed missing texture bug

Added new variants with Black Holographic sight.

Added Bisign and Bikey files are weapons and replacement cfg files.

Hi Slatts

First off just wanna say i love your M4 Mod, so much that i had to add it to addon list to play on my rented server. The problem is with your files, i kept getting banned before i realised, so i made my own bisign files and server key just out of curiosity and i connected without a problem. Just thought i'd point it out.
