Or did you turn it in when you became a gendarme? When i make wiseass comments, PLEAASE dont take me seriously. Most of the time it is said for effect and not because I really believe it. I find that as long as you try to be understanding, most people of any culture are usually friendly and interesting. In the end it comes down to the fact that there are assholes no matter what nation they are from, and beinf french or english or german or whatever doesnt really matter..who you are matters. KingBeast 0 Posted July 7, 2002 MDRZulu no i didnt, but i got to play with firecrackers and had a look at Chrissy's dads guns. Im not sure if he showed them to me in a friendly way or if he was hinting at something. "These are hollow point rounds. Really mess you up"

Man i dated some girls i knew of the internet but never an american, so not much experience with guns and dads But that would have made me laugh at the very least ... and laughing would have made me seem odd ... BTW pretty gutsy move going all the way to america like that, didnt some of the horrorstories you hear about that sorta thing cross your mind? Nice to hear it worked out (that's what it sounds to me) though
KingBeast 0 Posted July 7, 2002 I didnt really have any doubts abotu what i was doing. I was jsut hoping she would like me in person, and im sure she was hoping the same. We had previously got on really well mainly through telephone, handwritten letters and the odd email here and there. Together in real life, i have never got on with someone so well. It really is amazing, and if you can find the right girl i would reccomend it to anyone
Supah 0 Posted July 7, 2002 Well i gave it a couple of go's but it never really worked out, some due to distance (400 km's in my case which must seem like completely nothing to you with an ocean between you and her ) One nice thing is that you first get to know someones character before you see their exterior (assuming they are being truthfull) The truthfull part is really hard to assess. Anyway good on you

MDRZulu 0 Posted July 8, 2002 Oh about those hollowpoints he was probably just proud of them or something because Ive heard cops brag about their hollowpoints and how they kind of tear through and something about a big exit wound but they didnt plan on shooting anyone with them either but I guess they feel cooler if they have them.
